The biggest thing with remaking every map in the game and most of the elements from the ground up is that I lose a little vertical real estate and some horizontal size with the rooms, but SO FAR most room remakes have been 1:1 with way more detail.

Having the chance to just reevaluate everything I made in oldTASQ is pretty nice tbh. Also those falling platforms are functionally the same as the ones in oldTASQ, but they actually respawn without requiring you to exit the region, lol

Also I intend on the Waterway caves to be way different visually this time around, lol I've never liked the original look.

Mapping is a lot of fun

Can't wait to play this dang thang. Also I love that you did bubble crabs but didn't make them cute.

Can't wait for this game to come out. I keep replaying the demo over and over.

@KitzMatthew Sometime in 2025- I still have a long way to go but it's pretty smooth sailing

I might be solo, but I kinda wish we could get a castlevania using the Smash Brothers Moveset and physics from Simon / Richter Belmont in that game.
