Creator coins are not “the next iteration of memecoins.” Memecoins are all about community. That is the value. Shared purpose, contribution, sense of belonging. Creator coins rely on a single person. I am not against creator coins in any way, I think it’s a great idea. But to see that the leaders of Coinbase and Base do not understand memecoins is concerning.

its clear imo what the people want @brian_armstrong & @jessepollak im all for trying & experimenting new things, even the idea itself is amazing long term, whole new way of onboarding etc but to leave behind what got you here & to stop working on something that WORKED is something people don’t get (including me) memes & jokes are forever. with or without the internet. memecoins will be forever as long as we have internet & blockchain. we have edge over other chains already, +2 them by sending the whole ecosystem to venus. get behind memes.
