In our $KGN earnings call today, it sounded like it's David Shafer and I presenting but it wasn't. Our voices were AI generated and read the script. We uploaded several hours of our prior talks to train our voice model and the results were pretty incredible. This saved us a few hours preparation - valuable time we could spend working on other areas of the business. This is an example of the many one percenters across our business where AI is making us more efficient and helping the team be more productive. Our marketing team uses it to improve our content and make it more enaging. Our Engineering team uses it to get more context of our entire code base quicker and produce production ready code more rapidly. Our purchasing teams are using it for data and trend analysis to bring the latest products to our customers at even better prices. The list goes on. While the productivity gains are exciting, what's even more exciting is the pace at which things are changing and the technology is getting better!

Genome analysis with AI is cool i guess - but a simple CLI wasn't enough for me. Introducing HGI (Human Genome Interface): HGI connects agents to highly optimized bioinformatics tools, performing a full genome analysis in ~1 minute (!) on a MacBook Pro. It identifies both known and novel high-risk variants, all analyzed by LLMs. Compressing the pipeline from the original >60 minutes down to this timeframe was an exciting computer science and bioinformatics challenge. Thrilled with the results, as the current framework enables a genuine "talk to your genome" experience. HGI significantly boosts AI capabilities, as LLMs typically struggle with standard genetics and bioinformatics tools and tasks. Currently for research purposes only, but open for inquiries.

Today, we’re pushing a major update to Edison Analysis, our data analysis agent, which is tuned for scientific research and SOTA across data analysis benchmarks. In contrast to Kosmos, which runs for 6-12 hours and produces tens of thousands of lines of code, Edison Analysis runs for seconds to minutes and is best for specific, well-defined computational tasks. It is available both on our platform under the Analysis tab, and via API, and costs only one credit per run, so it is available to users on both free and paid tiers. Edison Analysis is a modified version of the data analysis agent Kosmos uses in its trajectories. Try it out! One of the most important improvements over our previous data analysis agents has been the addition of a specialized data retrieval tool. Edison Analysis can either use this tool to access data, or can pull data down directly via API. To evaluate this tool, we ranked the most commonly used public data repositories across recent papers from BioRxiv, and created a new benchmark that measures the ability of a language agent system to retrieve raw data from those sources. Edison Analysis gets 71% on this benchmark, and we’ll be working to increase this over time. You can read more about our benchmarks in the our blog post, link below. Some features worth highlighting: 1. Edison Analysis produces a report on the analysis it runs, along with a Jupyter notebook that you can download to reproduce the analysis yourself. Every figure it produces is linked back to the specific lines of code used to produce the figure, to make it easy to reproduce. 2. It works well with both Python and R. 3. One of the best uses for Edison Analysis is to use it to retrieve datasets that you can then analyze with Kosmos. We have a bunch of major improvements to Edison Analysis coming in the next few months that we’re excited to share. We are transforming my hero — Frank Gehry’s iconic architecture with 50 channel projectors into “Living Architecture.” With respect and homage to his body of work, our Large Architecture Model, trained on 35 million images of the world's architecture, will be dreaming of the future of architecture, urban, and future cities during the 6 months of our show in real-time using light and data as a pigment. I do believe Architecture is beyond concrete, steel and glass, and I’m deeply honored to share our work in an incredible museum and grateful to the Guggenheim Bilbao team for making our dream a reality!
