This is not true. There was an event scheduled at the stadium this weekend that was canceled in order to accommodate the memorial.

I think the exact same thing and I think part of it used the plot of the 1998 movie "Snake Eyes" where they depict the murder of a pol named Charles KIRKland on Sept 10 with a shot in the throat.
