Probably inexperienced driver , wanted to slow down to stop but mistaken the brake for accelerator. The car was at a steady pace when turning , there after it shows increase in speed

This happened to me once I hit accelerator instead of brakes, it's been 6 years but the incident still freaks me out. There were kids on the street by a sharp corner all I remember was seeing my car on the pavement thank God I did not accelerate towards the kids
