Using a Fatman on a Deathclaw is a waste. Even on Very Hard difficulty you can take out a Mythic Legendary Deathclaw with just a Gyro-Jet pistol. Fatmans are for fun, and only for fun. 😉

Protip: The Fatman can't land direct hits. At all. The projectile will literally phase through anything that isn't an environmental object.
