@joerogan It's really not that complicated. People need food, shelter and water. And instead of sharing these things freely, we force people into a crippling capitalist society that makes billionaire while leaving most people in poverty. Technology and science have nothing to do with it.

People think science can tell us what to do... It can't... Science can help us describe the situation and even then we have to ask the right questions. "Science Based" policies are actually ideologically motivated. They're using science as a mask to feign authority.

Great point. It's crucial to bridge the gap between science and society to avoid potential disasters. We need more science communication and education to ensure the responsible use of technology and scientific advancements.

Carl Sagan is right at the top of my list of all-time heroes. RIP Carl.
