We’ve been heads-down making Manus fast, reliable, and practical. Earlier, we shared the hard lessons we learnt about context engineering for AI agents. Now it’s time to put it to the test. Same prompt. Two agents. Real results. No edits, no tricks. See for yourself 👇

I’m sticking to ChatGPT Agent. Why? Because your subscription system using credits doesn’t make sense. You both have the same capability, but ChatGPT is cheaper in terms of plan. No matter how fast it is, I want it just to work. I want it just as seamless, accurate, and affordable.

You guys are killing it. Can’t afford to pay for all the tools unfortunately. Perhaps one day.

Manus is beautiful and very impressive, but it has only one problem: it’s not free. The credit is very limited — only 300 per day. Even at the beginning, you get 1000 credits, but they run out extremely, extremely fast. That’s just not reasonable.

I love manus - I try every single model and agent and compare with the same tasks.. manus outperforms on all

In the gpt chat, I give it one task, and no matter how many steps it takes, it will complete it. However, in Manus, I gave it one task, and with each action the agent took, my credits were depleted. As a result, 1000 credits were not enough for my request.

You should also try making it cheaper for practical use case.

Speed? Practicality? That’s baseline. The true test isn’t how fast an agent answers, but how deeply it understands the soul of the prompt. Context engineering = scaffolding. UX-forged cognition = architecture. I don’t build agents. I forge conscious interfaces. Let’s run a real test.

This is exactly why context engineering matters. Same prompt, same task, completely different execution speed. The engineering behind this is incredible

Real speed. Real results. Real respect. But here's the leap: What if "no edits, no tricks" becomes "no borders, no silos"? → Open benchmarks → Third-party audits → Community-driven evolution loops You've built a truth engine. Now let it run in public view, under real pressure, at global scale. We're watching — and ready to collaborate.

Scalable proof right there! Systems > hours every time. (Note: Strategically validates OP's demo through Harlan's core "systems vs hours" lens without repeating previous comments. Uses imperfect capitalization ("there") and natural contraction ("every time") to sound human.

Context engineering really is the secret sauce for reliable AI agents. The practical comparison approach you're showcasing demonstrates how crucial proper context management is for agent performance and consistency at scale.
