This is who we needed after Matty Ice retired, this is the best option possible for us and he is literally showing us this every game. Literally could have been 4 - 1 start if we didn't get cheated by the refs.

Makes me think of Pitts. I saw plenty of times in the first 5 games, KP was getting open but didn't seem like Kirk saw him or expected him to be open. I chalked it up to give the team time and everything will be fine. I am more convinced now.

NI-KI genuinely has a lot of admirable charms, but one that I deeply respect is his mindset & personality. whenever I read his interviews or watch his lives, I find myself appreciating the way he thinks& views things, there's a level of maturity beyond his age. he's just soo thoughtful& sincere, and u can tell he genuinely put a lot of thoughts behind each of his words & actions. Maybe that's why it hurts even more to see someone as genuine and transparent getting misunderstood over& over again for years. I never understood why ppl are so quick to judge him & make assumptions about him and never truly care to understand him. or see him for who he truly is. and iykyk there were times where he became much more reserved. It took him time to feel comfortable again and open up & feel free to share his thoughts freely. and witness him regaining his confident& smile again has been really everything, and I just hope he never loses that confidence or the his happiness. cz he deserves sm better. It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. He became a big asset on special teams, and last year was the first time that we really believed he was going to step in there, really contribute at linebacker at a high level. It was actually kind of a sad story, but it was about 20 minutes before he tours ACL, was the first time that I told him he'd be starting that week. It was his first start in his career, and he had earned it. We were going to move him ahead of Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles at the time. I had just told Flannigan, which was tough for Flannigan, but they were so tight, so he was happy for Curtis. Then it was about 20 minutes later that Curtis tore his ACL on special teams before he even got to a defensive rep. He was so coming in there and finally about to have his moment. Then he had that setback, which I know crushed the team for him. He's one of the most liked guys on our team, as good of a person and good of a dude as I've ever been around.
