We've been testing Memory (short-term and long-term) on Perplexity for a while. The results are great, and we are rolling it out widely. You can ask personalized questions, questions about past chats, and use any model or search mode with personal context (both apps and web).

Today, I'm excited to share another step towards that vision: AI Mode – our most powerful AI search – is coming to the Chrome address bar. This means you can use AI Mode to ask complex, multi-part questions right from the same place you already search and browse the web from Chrome. And you can quickly ask follow-up questions and explore more content from across the web. We’re rolling this out to users in the U.S. later this month and will expand to more countries and languages in the weeks ahead.

not enough people know about /side and it's underrated. Think claude's /btw but add: - multiple message followups allowed - you can spin up > 1 /side chats ask questions while the agent is working on your main session, or ask questions to explore other directions, and it won't affect your session's context!

Been having some issues with electrical in the Subaru. Leave a light on or door open for a short while and battery dies. Battery putting out about 12.6V with LOLcar off, and 15V with it running. So seems battery and alternator are both working properly. Any ideas? Maybe a short somewhere sucking the power?
