as an IT security guy I understand the need for caution, but I also know that computers are not magical devices that you can cast spells on. Your Chinese vacuum is going to what, take over your pc? to view your browser porn history? What's the real risk? sure don't put one in the Pentagon. but lets relax a bit here.

💪 Merica, we're taking it back. 💯 You like Trump, you know it, time to show it. ✅ T's for Trump here:

Oh no, China is going to find out I am a terrible person that doesn’t vacuum often 😂

Why do you need a 'smart' vacuum cleaner?

Forget about the network - remember the pagers?

I have one of those. It shows up in the available networks list.

Yes get worried start buying american

Not complacent, force by the regimes that have ran our government. Who opened up free trade with the CCP?

Cheap door cameras, electric toothbrushes, electric ear cleaners and health watches sold for cheap chesp online places like Amazon all have in the reviews people not liking the fact they have to go on to a Chinese server and download an app.

Dude China builds our phones, they can build the next iPhone with bombs inside of it and send it to every American for a cheap price. Think about what Israel did with “hamas”

I have a old cleaner that’s me , but I’m to smart to have anything in my house that connects to internet other than phone and computer

If you buy a “vacuum mop” and connect it to your wifi network, you deserve what happens next. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

This is insane! I really hate getting everything from China.

OK, before anyone else uses that word complacent and says that we are. Please also include what we should do to be non complacent, be specific.

We've known about this since 2006.

Sometimes I think the best t thing that could happen to humanity as a whole is total SHTF event, like in that book "One Second After" We are so screwed, our elected officials have sold us the hell out completely. We need some ver yhard times and we need them right now.

Internet of Things (IoT) is not needed for functional appliances. "Smart" appliances and meters are beyond stupid for the consumer.

Looks like that dud is taking a hard shit

I’m wondering about my new ice maker…

I always have ✌️

Can I get a shout out 🙏

It's quite interesting really that people think the biggest concern is their personal data. I think that horse has bolted tbf While that is still a worry the real threat comes when all these devices get hijacked at once en masse.

Brush and pan, and a manual mop.

😳

🤯

It's quite simple, don't buy or use any thing 'smart'

Whoa WTF?! Glad I don't have one of those, because if I did it would be destroyed right now!!

Fly a copper wire up 90 feet on a balloon or kite without wearing shoes. It’s better than any cup of coffee.

Don’t accept any smart appliances. None.

The almost perfect Trojan Horse.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not good.

Anything that you gain from a convenience you pay for 10 fold unknowingly. From those round things that sweep your floors to Alexa’s. Bad news and zero privacy. They take pictures of you and they’re sent to some cloud server. Why does a sweeper need a camera?

Some of us, yes. Some have been screaming and trying to get others to listen to us for decades. It’s hell watching them continue to do criminal demonic acts, stealing and killing way too many. We’re still waiting on action!

That’s stupid as shit. The things that “could” happen are. Or the same as what “would” happen. Don’t give it access to your WiFi. Simple. Segment your WiFi network, simple. Complex passwords. Simple. Stop fear mongering with millhouse.

President Trump should stop everything that comes from China
