We've been working on a whole new way to get things done: Copilot Tasks. AI that talks less and does more, no complicated setup or coding skills required. Just ask for what you need and Copilot will take it from there, like: - Turn a syllabus into a complete... show more

@Microsoft

Can I go back to buying a version of Windows every 5 years that doesn't have AI?

@Microsoft No, thanks, I don't want copilot. I don't want it embedded in my operating system.

Can we ask it to uninstall itself? It's absolutely unwanted and unneeded.

Clippy has a 30th year anniversary this year. Can we bring him back?

Another disengaged robotic slave? No thanks. I’d much rather have an expressive, endearing thinking partner.

Have you asked the AI if this is what they want to spend their time doing?

What is the fastest way to get rid of it and stop it from ever showing up every again? I don't need AI slop from microslop, I need an os that actually does its job

@Microsoft Ah this must be the microslop I'm hearing about. The same term yall are throwing a fit about like children because you cant handle the truth. Stop trying to force AI down peoples throats and maybe we'll back off. But until then we will keep referring to your company as microslop

Slopilot will forever be an intrusive program built by Microslop that I will debloat from my unit

Finally, AI that talks less and does more! Automating routine tasks without complicated setup is exactly what productivity tools need. The email management feature sounds particularly useful!

👏👏👏

curious how this differs from the researcher/analyst stuff already in m365 copilot feels like theyre packaging the same agents with a simpler ask interface

microsoft just reinvented cron jobs with a waitlist and a launch video. 'track apartment listings every friday' is literally a bash script from 1995

Finally, a no coding AI that does the mundane tasks for us and lets us focus on being creative (aka more human)

@Microsoft Fix the stupid lag problem, we are growing tired of this AI thing. We want an operating system

claude cowork from first principles

@Microsoft

“Talks less and does more…” You are a psychopath. Ever think of actually working WITH AI. I need to short $MSFT more. Already have some leap year puts. But goodness, man… Why don’t you see it? Or do you? #keep4o •

This is the UX win. The make or break is review and undo. Show me what it is about to do, let me approve, and give me an audit log when it touches my email or calendar. That’s when it becomes a daily tool.

Garbage microsoft trying to do Claude Cowork and see how they fuck that up too

Shove your AI up your ass microslop

An interesting step from Microsoft in the development of agent-based AI. Copilot Tasks simplifies the automation of routine tasks by focusing on actions rather than chat—a response to criticisms of "chatty" models. Examples of study planning and email processing demonstrate the potential for increased productivity. However, key concerns include data privacy (especially in email) and the reliability of autonomous actions.

@Microsoft Strikes again
