Day 28 of building Caliber for our own open source, open world game with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - driving is in we can get in a car and drive around the city. - the traffic and pedestrians all running while you drive, cars around you, people on the sidewalks. - Repo is under reconstruction. it's a little bit laggy in game still so I'm working on performance right now until it runs smooth for everyone.

It's good and al there's an bundle sale on PVE & Arena. However, just want to mention to people who is considering this bundle, that PVE is not so well treated. Even simple promo code for 1.0 release is not available for PVE such as current one, 'NIKITAONGMNPODCAST' or 'RELEASEISCOMING'. Whereas there was single code that worked on PVP & PVE 'TIKTOK1M' (which should still work). So they already have system for giving out promo code for both game mode but don't give them. I know people will say PVE easier, so no need for gear, no big deal... but why not give it if it's no big deal? it is also weird since they actively promote the game mode to sell it. Events were also PVP focused, which is understandable, but sometimes excluded PVE to have event for literal no reason (Pre-wipe events being excluded for PVE is understandable since they don't wipe). I know people will say 'Tarkov is PVP Game', but sad news to people, Tarkov is PVPVE Game. And if you exclude PVE part, the game will feel extremely empty. Whereas if you exclude PVP part, the game is still quite viable due to its in-depth of the game (we literally have PVE Game mode being sold). Literally the 1.0 release end content is PVE single player campaign in Terminal... My thoughts are that PVE definitely brought and will bring them a lot of new players and money, but Nikita or some part of the devs just don't want people to play PVE. I just wish they change their mind and at least embrace PVE players and not discriminate them. Just another thought is that needing to buy PVP game mode to be able to buy PVE Game mode is also weird. Or needing to purchase PVE Game mode even though you have PVP. I can somehow understand they put in some additional development into PVE and they have some servers for PVE to pay. Then why can't they sell only PVE mode standard copy? Why do people have to buy PVE after buying PVP? I'll leave you guys with what Nikita has been saying about PVE as video.

But the world has changed faster than our principles could keep up. AI has fundamentally altered the security landscape. What once required time, expertise, and intent can now be automated at scale. Code is no longer just read. It is scanned, mapped, and exploited. Near zero cost. In that world, transparency becomes exposure. Especially at scale. After a lot of deliberation, we’ve made the decision to close the core Cal.com codebase. This is not a rejection of what open source gave us. It’s a response to what risks AI is making possible. We’re still supporting builders, releasing the core code under a new MIT-licensed open source project called cal. diy for hobbyists and tinkerers, but our priority now is simple: Protecting our customers and community at all costs. Here's a highlight from #PhantomBladeZero at #BilibiliWorld! Thank you to all the players who participated and experienced the game. Please forgive us, as the current demo is not yet available for large-scale testing. This combat-centric demo was designed to showcase the core mechanics, as seen in the trailer, and to get feedback on the gameplay. Our goal here is to build and test the game. Afterward, we will repeat the entire process to provide the best experience for players in the final published game. Stay tuned for further updates on the demo and game! 🎮 SNEAK: Claynosaurz x Gameloft + Consoles Gameloft’s team surprised us with an Early Gameplay Prototype, demonstrating how our world can expand across platforms, including consoles. Leveraging the latest Unreal Engine tech, they’ve built a sandbox where our interoperable assets—the same ones you’ll recognize from our mobile game—seamlessly translate into a new, immersive console experience. Gameloft chose Claynosaurz for this R&D, highlighting the synergy we’re building together. While this prototype is separate from our mobile game, it hints at big possibilities for us in new digital playgrounds with a focus on spearheading interoperability. We're just getting started 🫡
