Aaron Boone was asked if he considered starting Jose Caballero at shortstop tonight and what he's made of Anthony Volpe's at-bats recently: "I felt like Volp went through a tough stretch there for a few weeks, a month. Feel like on the road trip, started to swing the bat well again, several in a row, and then has had a few games here where he's struggled. Offensively, just finding that consistency has been the challenge for him. It is something I considered, but also believe and hope that his best days are here for us down the stretch and hopefully on into October. We saw that last year from him, how good he was for us in October, so we know he's capable. We've got to help him get there and just find more consistency. That's been a challenge."

With the conclusion of VALORANT Champions 2023, Patiphan ‘Cgrs’ Posri/Kla has decided not to renew his contract and will depart Paper Rex to pursue new endeavors. Kla has worked with the team throughout the 2022 Off-Season, debuting with Paper Rex at the Riot ONE Invitational Yokohama, and playing a key role to support the team’s 2023 VCT Pacific season. Both Jabari and Tari talked about the chemistry they have built over the years, and how they went from rebuilding years to playing in playoff games. I asked Alperen Sengun what it means to him to go from winning 17-20 games to playing in the playoffs alongside other young players like Tari and Jabari. “Playing with them is really appreciated it growing up together we have seen the worse I mean I have seen the worse being the worse team in the league and coming out here in 3 years is a big thing for us.”

The club is pleased to announce the signing of winger Billy Fewster, Billy joins the club after his departure from Alfreton Town After spending his younger years at Leeds United Billy made the move to Nottingham Forest where he made a handful of first team appearances. Whilst on the books at Nottingham Forest he enjoyed a loan spell at Scunthorpe United. After his departure from Forest he linked up with Alfreton Town and despite only being 22 yrs old he has made over 100 appearances at step 2 Here are some words from the Gaffer on Billys signing "We're delighted to welcome Billy to the football club.
