When booking a hotel room, I think many of us like using the third party sites because they offer a better deal than booking with the hotel directly. However it comes at a price, many times the booking isn’t in real time and mistakes can happen. This young lady was told her room would be ready but later found out they don’t have a room. Mind you, she already paid the third party site for the room, it doesn’t sound like the hotel got the money because she said they told her she could pay again. If a hotel told me they would call the cops, I would take it as a red flag, it sounds a scam or misunderstanding with the third party site. For the sake of peace of mind I would just book from the hotel and avoid any confusion. Would you still use a third party site with the risks involved?

Nicki Minaj has come through in the 11th hour to stop her $20 million mansion from being sold to satisfy a $503,000 lawsuit judgment. On Thursday (Jan. 22), a final hearing was held to address whether the rap star's Hidden Hills, Calif., home will be sold to pay Thomas Weidenmüller, who was awarded the default judgment last year after Nicki failed to answer his 2022 lawsuit, which accused Nicki's husband of assaulting him in 2019. After months in limbo, Nicki finally paid off the debt, avoiding the forced sale of the home. Weidenmüller's attorney, Paul Saso, confirmed the debt has been settled in a press conference outside the courtroom. "Today, we informed the court that Nicki Minaj has satisfied the judgment," Saso said. "Therefore, there is no need to proceed further with our order authorizing the sale of her house." Thomas Weidenmuller, a former security guard for Nicki, sued her and her husband, Kenneth Petty, in 2022. Weidenmuller claimed he was assaulted by Petty at the behest of Nicki after he allowed a fan to get on stage during a show in Germany in 2019. She never answered the suit. The officer walks around with the child trying to find a car or room that looks familiar to the child but comes to the conclusion that the child may be from the motel across the highway. The rooms at Vanderpump Hotel are now open. This is a standard king room. Lots of light with sage and lavender accents. A stark contrast to the dark sexy hallway. The bathroom is mostly retained from Cromwell but otherwise a total renovation. Minutes after walking into the room, because it is the first night of the rooms being available, I was greeted with a welcome wagon and gifts of rosé and whiskey and a lovely box of chocolates.🥰 I returned to the room after visiting Gigolo, the lobby bar, and the room was turned down with slippers by the bed and chocolates on the nightstand. So happy with the refresh and I can’t wait to see the suites!! Vital Vegas Las Vegas Locally 🌴 The Vanderpump Hotel
