There is also the consideration of people with learning disabilities speech impediments, hearing, impediment site, impediment that cannot use these devices. And then there is the aged people with dementia. Cannot use these items and online banking and paying bills.

I just voted NO on the Rule for the GENIUS Act because it does not include a ban on Central Bank Digital Currency and because Speaker Johnson did not allow us to submit amendments to the GENIUS Act. Americans do not want a government-controlled Central Bank Digital Currency. Republicans have a duty to ban CBDC. President Trump included a ban on CBDC in his January 23rd executive order and Congress must also include the ban on CBDC in the GENIUS Act.

Well if you’re in Britain (not sure is this applies to the rest of the world) do NOT do it. If you do it automatically applies over 18 age verification. You have to prove who you are and your age or acces to various services and sites will be restricted. It’s not law….its “voluntary”….yeah right. Which the Conservative government failed to push through before the general election. Now, Labour are trying again. This bill paves the way for an all-encompassing digital identity system. Despite assurances that digital IDs will be voluntary. The reality is that once these systems are embedded into everyday life, for banking, government services or even supermarket age verification—opting out becomes impossible. The infrastructure for control is being built, and history shows that when governments and corporations gain more access to personal data, they do not give it back. In March 2023, we reported that digital ID's were being implemented under the Digital Information (No. 2) Bill. Now, it is back under a new name, with even broader implications. This bill is not about convenience, it’s about control. But laws like this only succeed when people stay silent. Public pressure can stop this, just as it has stopped other draconian measures in the past.
