I have replaced all of my Hermes Agents with Grok Bot. Grok Bot comes out of the box with its own remote computer which makes the setup way easier and also removes the need to purchase expensive Mac Minis. Goodbye Hermes Agent.

Stripe Cards are now officially live on ClawVault If you're building agents that need to pay for things — APIs, SaaS, cloud, subscriptions, contractors — your agent can now get its own Visa card. Not a restricted virtual card on limited rails. A real Visa, powered by Stripe, accepted at every merchant on the internet. Spending limits. Merchant locks. Expiry controls. And that's just the defaults — the full rules engine goes deeper. Your agent spends freely within the rules — break one, and the charge gets flagged for your approval before it goes through. No other platform gives your agent a card and keeps you in control at the same time. Every AI agent will need a card. Every card will need a control layer. We built both. Now on Stripe. Your agent gets the card. You keep the control.🦞

YOUR AGENT CAN RUN ALL NIGHT. YOUR BUDGET WILL NOT. 43% of enterprises struggle to prove AI's business value, while 27% cannot even track token spend across systems. Stacklet just launched Token Custodian to close that gap. An agent stuck in a retry loop can balloon its context window on every turn. By the time a monthly billing alert arrives, the money is already gone... Built by the team behind CNCF Cloud Custodian, Stacklet already governs $10B+ in enterprise cloud spend, cutting cloud and AI bills by up to 50% and governance overhead by 80%. Token Custodian brings real-time enforcement to LLM tokens: > attribute tokens and agent runs to teams, projects, apps, and cost centers across providers > cap agent steps, runtime, and context growth per run > pause runaway loops automatically and alert owners in Slack > switch routine requests to cheaper models at 80% budget usage, with approvals for frontier model exceptions FinOps sets budgets in the UI. Platform teams manage policies as code in Git across coding assistants and customer-facing agents. The results? savings 6x faster, with flat subscription pricing instead of a percentage of spend 🔥 now in early preview ahead of the October 27 Token Governance Summit (event link in 🧵↓) Explore it here →

HE BUILT A 100% PRIVATE SECOND BRAIN IN OBSIDIAN TO AUTOMATE HIS RESEARCH USING HERMES AGENT AND NOTEBOOKLM He visualizes his entire knowledge graph on-premise without paying for cloud subscriptions By connecting Hermes Agent and NotebookLM, developers can index hundreds of documents and generate content locally Four components of this local knowledge architecture: 1. Memory layer - set up an Obsidian PARA vault to store markdown notes and profiles 2. Agent layer - connect Hermes Agent to write files and run background scripts 3. Synthesis layer - use NotebookLM to create structured overviews from raw transcripts 4. Automation layer - trigger cron tasks to synchronize files and calendar standups The setup saves over $4,000 annually while keeping all private files offline Get the full step-by-step configuration guide and setup commands in the article below ↓

Hermes meets SuperGrok! xAI just made every SuperGrok subscription work inside Hermes Agent. One browser login, no API key, no separate billing. And it doesn't just unlock text chat with Grok 4.3. The same OAuth token gives the agent access to: → Grok Text-to-Speech for spoken responses → Grok Imagine for image and video generation → x_search for real-time X/Twitter search I just added a new X Research Agent profile to my Hermes. Now my agent watches X while I ship. Setup takes about 60 seconds: Available on every SuperGrok tier, no restrictions. I wrote a full deep dive covering Hermes agent's architecture, memory system, self-evolving skills, GEPA optimization, and setting up multiple specialized agents The article is quoted below.

THAT'S CRAZY, THIS CHINESE FOUNDER BUILT A MASSIVE MAC MINI FARM AND EACH ONE RUNNING ITS OWN HERMES AI AGENT LIKE A FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE He's not running one AI assistant. He's running an entire workforce. The stack: Mac Mini + Hermes, scaled out across a full physical farm. Every single Mac Mini in the rack runs its own instance of Hermes Agent – and each one has its own dedicated job. Not duplicated tasks. Actual division of labor, machine by machine, the way you'd structure a real team. No salaries. No sick days. No onboarding. Just racks of hardware, each one handling its own piece of the business, running in parallel, 24/7. This is what it looks like when "AI agent" stops being one chatbot on your laptop and starts being an actual operation. Most people are running one AI tool. This guy built a company out of them. Bookmark this post. Full setup in the video below.

Hermes Agent has a new Blank Slate setup mode. The default Quick/Full setup modes work great for most, but if you would rather build your agent from the ground up you can now start with just a provider, model, file operations, and terminal, then manually add in anything else.
