Warning to new Christians looking for a church. Here are a few things to lookout for. Avoid the dens of vipers! If they have the LGBTQXYZ flag, or say Black Lives Matter… run the other direction! The gospel is very simple. We are all sinners in need of a savior. Jesus Christ came as God in human form, lived a perfect life and bore our sins on the cross. If you are a Christian and not a Catholic, then that is a big problem, and I genuinely feel sad for you. One of the things I love Fr. Beard for is how he says things with authority. He doesn't mince his words, especially when it comes to the doctrines of the church. Anyone who rejects the Eucharist has rejected Jesus and will not go to Heaven. Jesus said this himself in simple words.

I upset the Orthobros on here when I posted that the Wilsons aren’t Christian. They said “how dare you declare whether or not someone is a Christian!” Here is my response (watch til the end for the most ironic part of all of this): Scripture itself tells us that it is OBVIOUS who is saved and that we can discern who is and who is not a child of God. “By this the children of God and the children of the devil are OBVIOUS: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother and sister.” 1 John 3:10 Yes, Christians will still continue to sin, as Romans 7 tell us. Sanctification is certainly messy, there’s no denying that. But someone who has been supernaturally made new by the Holy Spirit will have a real heart change. Regeneration is not an inconsequential experience. It will be obvious to people. The supernatural work of the Holy Spirit is a powerful one. Someone who is made a child of God will bear the family resemblance. No one can be born again and continue to comfortably stay in the mud with the pigs. They might occasionally still fall into the mud, they might still have dirt on their clothes even after they get up, but they will hate it when they do and will live in a humble manner before God crying “have mercy on me, a sinner.” They will pursue righteousness and have a deep deep love for others. And when they are confronted about their sin by others, they repent. So yes, we can look at someone living in a hateful unrighteous arrogant manner for years on end, even after being confronted about it, and determine that they are not of the Lord.

You take Somalia out of Somalia and put it here and it's not gonna work any better. Don’t Scroll—God Is Calling You to Submit and Move Praise the Lord that He has given us such a commission and such a call and we should be humbled by that and we should want to go out for His kingdom and do that. All of you are usable by God. There is not one of you that is not usable if you're only willing to submit. We all fall short. It's a matter of who is willing. Here I am, Lord, send me. That's what Isaiah said. Here I am. Send me. You are all usable. When a lot of you out there go, well, what can I do for God in my life? There's a lot you can do. If you're only willing to be picked up as an instrument in his Hands and implemented the way you were created to move. Many of you are operating outside the realm of what you were created to be. And in this season, that's going to be reconciled. And many of you are going to change course in this season drastically. Because you're in jobs, you're in areas, you're doing things, you were not created to do. You have gifts for it, but you weren’t created to do it. And there's going to be massive shifts in many of your lives and a sudden turn. And the Lord is going to realign. And this is going to be quick when He does it. Realign you into the position, redirect you and put you on that course because time is short and He needs you operating in what you were created to do. He needs that right now. And many of you are going to enter that process in this season. So praise the Lord because you are. You will enter that process and you will be redirected. And you will do what is written about you in the books of heaven, what you were created to do on this earth. Because many of you know and feel uncomfortable and know you're not in your call. You know you are just trying to try to endure, you're trying to survive. And it's because you're not in your call. Surrender to God, allow Him to redirect you into your call and your purpose that you were beautifully created to do. Because it's needed in this season and we cannot dilly dally anymore and go dabbling in things we are not created to do. It's time for us to go to work and it's time for us to be willing to go there.

A pastor at Heritage Community Church in FL addressed congregants yesterday after one of their Overseers, Bart Lucas, was arrested and charged with five counts of video voyeurism. The statement, however, is leaving some people feeling disquieted. Take a look and comment if you agree. Major Crimes investigators with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office were alerted last week when a co-worker found troubling footage depicting adults and adolescent girls on his work computer and notified authorities. After further investigation, deputies discovered recordings shot on a hidden camera inside a church bathroom where girls would change after their baptisms. Some of the videos go back to the mid-2000’s, and some of the girls were allegedly under the age of 16. Addressing the issue during his service yesterday, Pastor Sidney Brock told congregants to stay away from all the 'junk' and commentary on social media, because "that crap doesn't tell you the truth." Framing it as a demonic attack on their church, Brock reiterates, "I've known (Lucas) for 30 years to be a man of character, a man of integrity in our community. I don't know anything else" Referencing Lucas, he emphasizes that "everyone is a step away from stupid," says law enforcement has to do their job and to pray for wisdom for them, warns everyone again to stay off social media and not spread unfounded information, which could result in legal action, and then ultimately concludes by insisting 'our greatest concern today is the individuals and families that may have been impacted.' According to WESH, the church initially released a statement that read: "We were notified late Friday that one of our overseers, Bart Lucas, was arrested. Bart and his family have been part of the Heritage family since our beginning, and we care deeply for them. At this time, we do not have all the details, but we understand this matter involves circumstances from several years ago. We want to be careful not to speculate, but instead to pray - for Bart and his family, for those who may be impacted, and for wisdom and truth throughout this process." But later amended it to: "We were notified late Friday that one of our overseers, Bart Lucas, was arrested. At this time, we do not have all of the details, and we want to be careful not to speculate or speak beyond what we know. Our primary concern is for any individuals or families who may have been impacted by these allegations. We recognize the seriousness of situations like this and the deep hurt, confusion, and pain they can cause. To anyone who may have been affected, we want you to know that you are seen, valued, and that we are committed to supporting you with care and compassion. Dear Pilgrim, Hear what this preacher said in 1997: "Gospel music ministers have agents who pimp them to the highest bidder" This was 28 years ago! If we keep trying to be politically correct, the lines will keep getting blurred until there are no lines. Sadly, we will leave battles we should have fought and won for our children. This is the story of 2025. If when asked if a Christian minister should have sex before marriage, or if a Christian minister should serve with integrity, we can answer yes or no. Why is it so hard for ALL of us Christians to agree on the Biblical standard for charging money in ministry? Why is it that matters of money have become such a big snare in the body? Why can't we just look at the Bible and do as it recommends? Why do matters of Babylon's gold always have to be stylishly evaded as matters of personal consecration? A church invites you to minister. This church will take care of transportation, accommodation, and feeding for you (and your team if applicable), and you feel it's right, in addition, to DEMAND a specific fee for ministry to them? How can we be arguing this for God's sake? How can you be demanding how much you must be given or paid? Is it no longer ministry? Then somebody says, "If they can not pay, they should forget I will go where they can pay." So how much money a church can pay now becomes part of the indices for determining which invite to accept. How sad!!! Whether music minister or preacher, anyone demanding a specific fee for ministry is a hireling. We shouldn't be politicizing these things. The person is "stealing" by trick. The church should honour and be a blessing to a minister financially. That's scriptural. However, it's not in the place of the minister to demand how much that honour should be. This should be very simple for us to agree on as Christians. Yes! Some churches abuse people in the name of ministry. I have been through it, Nathaniel Bassey has been through it. Many on CT have been through it. Any true minister has been through this before, and if you haven't, you will go through it. You won't be the first nor the last. And we all should be bold enough to say this is the standard and leave every man to his conscience. At the seat of Christ, when all men's works will be tried and rewarded accordingly, no one will say he or she was not told. The fire will prove all men's works at the end. Dear Pilgrim, Hear what this preacher said in 1997: "Gospel music ministers have agents who pimp them to the highest bidder" This was 28 years ago! If we keep trying to be politically correct, the lines will keep getting blurred until there are no lines. Sadly, we will leave battles we should have fought and won for our children. This is the story of 2025. If when asked if a Christian minister should have sex before marriage, or if a Christian minister should serve with integrity, we can answer yes or no. Why is it so hard for ALL of us Christians to agree on the Biblical standard for charging money in ministry? Why is it that matters of money have become such a big snare in the body? Why can't we just look at the Bible and do as it recommends? Why do matters of Babylon's gold always have to be stylishly evaded as matters of personal consecration? A church invites you to minister. This church will take care of transportation, accommodation, and feeding for you (and your team if applicable), and you feel it's right, in addition, to DEMAND a specific fee for ministry to them? How can we be arguing this for God's sake? How can you be demanding how much you must be given or paid? Is it no longer ministry? Then somebody says, "If they can not pay, they should forget I will go where they can pay." So how much money a church can pay now becomes part of the indices for determining which invite to accept. How sad!!! Whether music minister or preacher, anyone demanding a specific fee for ministry is a hireling. We shouldn't be politicizing these things. The person is "stealing" by trick. The church should honour and be a blessing to a minister financially. That's scriptural. However, it's not in the place of the minister to demand how much that honour should be. This should be very simple for us to agree on as Christians. Yes! Some churches abuse people in the name of ministry. I have been through it, Nathaniel Bassey has been through it. Many on CT have been through it. Any true minister has been through this before, and if you haven't, you will go through it. You won't be the first nor the last. “What did you think of Lando being booed at race because people and I've seen it online as well say he doesn't deserve the title because McLaren favored him over his teammate. Do you think that's total nonsense?” Jacques Villeneuve: “That's a little bit ridiculous. When there was some booing in some races, that was embarrassing. You should never boo a driver that's clean, doesn't do anything dirty, on track is respectful, and on top of it is super fast. What's wrong with people? That was embarrassing. And, had it been that Piastri was a second a lap faster than him and somehow Lando was winning because a lot of things were happening, his car breaking down every time, then you could start thinking, okay, that's really not cool. That's not fair. But that wasn't the case. And in the second half, Norris has been faster right at the beginning as well, last year as well. So there's this whole middle of the season where Piastri was driving a lot better than Norris and was getting the points. Norris had an engine blowing up, not Piastri. And so those fans, they don't look at that either. You have to look at the whole picture, at the whole season. And suddenly if your favorite is starting to go backwards, you just got to bite the bullet and accept it. Your favorite is just going backwards. That doesn't mean that the other one is treated better or the other one is undeserving just because the one you're a fan of is not winning right now. That’s really wrong. If you're a fan of the sport, then you have to be a fan of the sport and understand when your driver is maybe not cutting it at this point in time, even though he was before and he will in the future again. Lately, it's become a trend to talk about Carlos as if he only started learning to play tennis well (for some, even to be educated) at 15. As if one coach is the only responsible for his success and for who he is in every aspect. Meanwhile, this was Carlos at age 10 in Murcia. One can acknowledge the work of a coach and give him credit without diminishing the player, who is the one holding the racket and coming back in historic 5: 30 hours finals, as if he didn't exist or have anything to do with his own success or who he is. A world number one, the youngest in history, isn't solely the work of a coach. Is also the work of his family, all his team and people, but above all, it's HIS OWN WORK, his talent, his commitment to his dream, and his constant sacrifice since childhood. Even if every now and then he has the audacity to need to rest for a few days with his friends or family.

And now, if New Yorkers want a leader like the governor that we have, who can look at that cruelty and name it for what it is, then they know that the choice is Governor Hochul. If they want a leader who looks at the cruelty of ICE and sees a playbook of what to deliver at an even greater extent in New York State, then that’s Bruce Blakeman. And I know what choice I would make, and I know that New Yorkers feel the same, and we are all standing here because we believe in the values and ideals that make us so proud to be New Yorkers. And then there are those who are willing to traffic in fearmongering, even if it means trampling upon those very ideals, and we will not stand for that.

#AlwaysFamily 2 years ago, almost to the day. It was a great joy of my life to pour into this program, start shifting culture again, and help build. But it is with a heavy heart to announce that I will not be returning to the sidelines for Del Valle football next season. Those who know me, know all of this does not come lightly without emotion. Though I would have certainly scripted another, it's been such an honor and a privilege to serve. For all the coaches that do it right, and from the heart, a lot of hard work goes into this profession and sleepless nights, but I can honestly say that I have loved just about every minute. God is good✝️ As the timing would have it (there goes God again), this year will mark the end of 28 years in this #txhsfb profession. 28 years is a long time, and a part of me will always want more years to help build and coach these amazing kids and student-athletes--but it's tough to think of a better place to finish...#DVYK Fearless, Grit, Hard Work, Hustle, Resolve, Perseverance, Work Ethic!
