As we held our campaign today in Kibuli-Makindye East for the NUP Parliamentary flag-bearer, some 5 youth raided our campaign grounds, clad in Mr. Museveni’s tshirts and holding his posters. This was a clear sign of provocation, so we asked the Territorial police and military which was present to escort them out to avoid a potential confrontation, because according to the schedule it was NUP meant to be at the premises. Police ignored our pleas, so our supporters then escorted them out of the place. We condemn this provocation, and the in-action by the territorial police. Had it been NUP supporters who had raided a scheduled rally of NRM candidates, police and the military would have brutality arrested them and detained them!!

Door-to-Door Campaign in Isiolo South. During our door-to-door campaign in Isiolo South, we identified a heartbreaking case of a woman suffering from kidney failure. She currently spends over KSh 3,000 every week traveling to Maua for dialysis, a heavy burden on her and her family. After assessing her situation, we have officially taken over her case. We shall airlift her to India together with her donor and our two recently recruited nurses from the Sonko Rescue Team, Isiolo South. All travel arrangements, including visas and medical logistics, will be fully catered for by the Sonko rescue team. We believe leadership is about action and standing with our people in their most difficult moments. We pray for her successful treatment and quick recovery. 🙏

There’s no scheme whatsoever to undermine Chief Justice Martha Koome or the Judiciary. What happened was a matter of three police officers assigned to the CJ who had been promoted and were leaving for training. Our CJ is one of the most-guarded public officers with 32 security personnel assigned to her. Even with the three officers proceeding for training, she will remain with 29 at her service. We remain committed to providing security to all public officers who are entitled to it.

According to police and body-worn video released by Channel 5 News, the moment the front door opened they were sprayed in the face with a noxious substance. One officer said the burning became so severe she couldn’t see, struggled to breathe, and initially believed she’d been attacked with acid. No one should expect to face that simply for answering a 999 call. Our police officers put themselves in harm’s way every day. I've just spoken to Holly England, she could be better, but at home with her children. She was arrested by the Essex Police who door stepped Allison Pearson on Remembrance Sunday. Here she is being molested by them at the Bell Hotel in Epping, who later on arrested her for a different offence, but later de-arrested. Anyone might reasonably expect she is being picked on.

In a midnight operation, WB Police, on the instructions of Mamata Banerjee, is going door to door in Bermajur, which is in #Sandeshkhali, and intimidating BJP booth agents. Women are being threatened and abused. Their voter cards are being snatched and they are being told not to sit in the booths tomorrow. Power has been shut in the entire area. Local TMC goons are guiding the police. There is no woman cop accompanying them, as should have been the case, if this was a legitimate exercise. Mamata Banerjee will pay for her sins. But for now we are ensuring protection for our karyakartas. Election Commission of India must instruct the Police and General Observers to intervene immediately.

Just this week, our candidates and supporters were roughed up and arrested outside EC offices, apparently to prevent them from holding processions. The Electoral Commission and Police will act like they didn’t see this…or maybe it’s only a problem when it’s the opposition. If it is NRM fellows, then there’s no problem at all. This impunity is what we all must fight to end resoundingly. While we don’t have a problem with NRM moving with their supporters (whether real or rented), the same principle ought to apply across the board!!

In Maricopa County, Arizona, during the 2020 election audit, pallets with thousands of duplicate ballots were found with NO serial numbers, which are crucial for creating a paper trail for audits, especially with duplicate ballots. If the corresponding serial numbers for the duplicated ballots are NOT on the ballots, there is NO way to determine if that ballot was tabulated and counted 1x or 1000x, which opens the door to massive ballot fraud.

According to the video, a police vehicle was parked on the roadside when the officer suddenly opened the door without checking for oncoming traffic. A motorcyclist collided with the door, resulting in an accident. What happened next is even more concerning. The officer is seen allegedly slapping and hitting the biker with a baton instead of helping him. Officers are dealing with a chaotic street incident in which a man can be seen with serious facial injuries. Then, while they’re trying to bring the situation under control, a woman appears to walk straight up and strike an officer across the face. What did she honestly expect to happen next? A polite handshake and a lift home? 🙄 She continues to resist as officers restrain, handcuff and take her to the police van. Whatever your opinion of the police, nobody should be assaulted simply for doing their job. We rightly demand accountability from officers, and that same accountability must apply to members of the public. Our streets are already out of control without people thinking they can assault police officers and then fight against being arrested.
