Each iQPS mission – and the ones to come - include our own Motorized Lightband separation system to deploy the latest QPS-SAR to space – further proof of how our vertical integration across launch and space systems streamlines our customers’ mission.

We've secured a second multi-launch contract with Synspective – bringing the total number of upcoming missions with them to 21, the largest order of dedicated Electron missions with a single customer to date. As Synspective’s sole launch provider so far, we've already successfully deployed six StriX satellites across six dedicated launches from LC-1. The next 21 launches will launch from the same site - with our schedule flexibility, tailored launch service, and streamlined operations central to Synspective’s decision to extend its previous multi-launch contract. We've just signed Electron's largest commercial launch contract ever: 20x new launches with Earth-observation constellation operator Synspective 🚀🦉 That brings the total number of Synspective launches on Electron to 47 - the most of any Rocket Lab launch customer. We're proud to continue building out their low Earth orbit constellation through to 2031.

“Of course, for the entire last 26 years, all of it has benefitted these future missions. And in continuing some of these experiments that will help us with our first landing missions on the Moon makes it even more worthwhile and rewarding for us.” -- Jessica Meir NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and her crew mates recently discussed the upcoming Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station, slated for launch on Feb. 12. While aboard, this crew will also see the launch of four astronauts around the Moon on Artemis II – a mission made possible due to countless dedicated team members and decades of research in low Earth orbit.

China continues to strengthen its space-based command and communication infrastructure. On July 29, the Tianlian-3-01 relay satellite was launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Center aboard a Long March-7A carrier rocket. The satellite will provide critical support for: 🔹 Data relay for China's crewed spacecraft 🔹 Communication and control of the Chinese space station 🔹 Support for space laboratories and other manned missions 🔹 Telemetry, tracking, and command services 🔹 Data transmission for Earth observation satellites operating in medium and low Earth orbits This launch marked the 659th mission of the Long March rocket family, highlighting China's rapidly expanding presence in space.
