I had a newborn and 3 year old girls, 12 and 15 year old boys. Those boys adored and cared for those girls. They helped me raise them. Still do. Now the baby is 15 and they are all best friends. I’m glad, because I’m an older mom, and they will always have each other.

My daughter loved taking care of her baby brother (7 year gap). She even made a journal to record his vocabulary and spent hours teaching him. He owes many, many of his first words to her.
