what a damn mistake, specially for a game from a studio with not much reputation behind it… releasing a game that takes place in wide forest landscapes and some towns WITHOUT 60fps is crazy… assassin’s creed black flag resynced came out on july 2026 and it looks better graphically... show more

Sure, but the AC remaster/remake was based on a game that was already made, so they had the template already there, on top of that they had AAA resources to bring about the remaster/remake. The studio behind DawnWalker is an AA indie studio and the is their first game, they do have experience from working on other titles like The Witcher 3, but this is not a remake/remaster it's a whole new game, on top of that they most likely do not have the resources or budget to make a AAA game. What we can expect is the game as they have stated now will support/patching which will improve things as they go along, will the game ever be 60fps? Probably not but who knows?

Ubisoft does seem to have a pretty great Engine. It's too bad they don't make any good use of it anymore. Black Flag's success is wholly dependent on it being a Remake. New studios are stuck with either using Unreal Engine 5 or building their own which seems to be out of the question. It'd be great to see devs getting better at using UE5. Some studios have already been able to use it and deliver stable games but this seems to be the story most of the time. Some technical mfs can explain why far better than I.

Yea, has proper deflated my hype... 2026 and not even 60fps.

They really fucked up with no 60fps… people are PISSED😂

genuinely couldn’t care less what frame rate a game runs at

Did you say the same for GTA 6 being 30fps only?

Lol comparing generic ubislop game to dawnwalker 🤣

They actually killed all momentum with this, even if the game is good its gonna get review bombed now and that way people will never really recognize it for what it is

Ubisoft is a giant company with an in house engine. That's just not a good comparison. They could probably get it at 60 fps in the future.

Wow the billion dollar company with their own proprietary engine managed to run a remake at 60 fps? How shocking 😱

Who cares? Gameplay is more important than fps, the game looks great and will be great

Estás comparando otro motor gráfico, gente que viene haciendo videojuegos con el mismo motor gráfico contra un estudio reciente que es su primer trabajo. No todo siempre es igual hay distintas variables. El tweet que pusiste es de un ignorante

AC: BFR is on an Ubi custom engine (a version of Anvil). UE5's going to be UE5 & has been demanding this entire gen' (since 2020). I wouldn't expect miracles out of UE5, esp. given AMD's mid-range 2020 iGPU on consoles been behind NVidia this entire gen 'til recent RX 9000 GPU's.

people like you are such children about a non-issue, you were never buying this game stop being performative.

w assassin

But Gta6 is ok?

Their individual reputation is TW3. Those of us who are informed know their roots. Rebel Wolves= all the true talent from CDPR- the woke shit.

Cool story bro, but I do not give a single fuck about it. It's Day one for me. The game looks great

While I hear the point about 60fps, one of the biggest reasons why dev cycles are getting longer and games are getting more expensive is because devs are dumping all their money into making their games look shiny and pretty and the reat in marketing, while many of those games lack soul, good story or complete gameplay mechanics. That’s why most of them end up having rough launches and being what they intended them to be only a year of two after release. Think Cyberpunk, No mans sky, Dragon age inquisition to name a few. All beautiful games but technically a disaster at launch and had to improve over time. So I would rather a solid but not groundbreaking looking game that actually works and feels smooth that later gets a graphic update. As opposed to a game that looks stunning that barely functions when it really matters.

Lile if it was a Switch 2 game then I would accept the lower frame rate because its a handheld console but theres really no good reason to not have games be at 60 for a proper console

You don’t need 60fps to enjoy a game visually btw

Cry more

I don’t get it. Is your gaming really that demanding that it’s hard to run at 60 FPS? Even Crimson Desert, one of the most hardware-demanding games this year, can run at a smooth 60 FPS, on a base PS5

Oh stfu

Black Flag being a remake of a 2013 game - okay 😂

are you stupid ?

I think The way NPCs behave and how the world works will be so heavy on the cpu that consoles can't push it to 60 even ps5 pro, other games like kcd 2 had that and it was perfectly optimized but then again warhorse spent years with cry engine to make sure it's smooth

I played the whole game in 40 fps and it was enjoyable enough that i never switched to 60 fps 30 fps? Hell nah it's ass but 40? Its pretty good

I’ll wait to pass judgement, if the world has better interactivity/ai/systems than AC it will be worth it

I hope when gta 6 will be 30 fps(40 on pro) max, you will trash it same way

in house engine with their own made physics and light engine with inhouse nanite analog vs UE5

AC games always look better than almost everything...

Actually the dawnwalker game looks worse than 2020 games too

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has a 60fps performance mode too, right?
