Hi Martin If you walk around, look out for a couple of climbing frames. Inbetween them is where the centre circle was, and is marked with a plaque in the ground. Took my 7 year old to show him last week. ⚒️

Pretty sad if you think about it. Historic stadium filled with memories from players and fans just to be torn down and made into apartments

How depressing is that? Our history gone replaced by flats. Our legacy in a rented bowl that has no atmosphere.

I can't imagen to believe how you feel walking around there Martin. Iv been there once since we lost our home and had tears in my eyes, can't bring myself to ever go there again.

Just got home. Had a great West Ham day. Walk in amongst Upton Park flats was erm upsetting. Strange feeling knowing what we did and the great history of the club. Old Irons were amazing this afternoon Hopefully bought rays of sunshine into their lives. I loved it.

Once on the pitch I realised I shouldn’t be there and reached out to pat you on the back… quite funny watching the video of your goals and the seasons goals of that one. Im the kid in the jeans, back and white Tee and hammers hat. The steward was fine once I got back over⚒️

Oh Martin🥺 it’s so sad to see it now. All our dreams, our memories and our people all gone. The Boleyn is just a film set to use when the club want to pull on our heart strings of times gone by. Only now do they want to film “the culture” that no longer exists there. ❤️⚒️🐾

Can’t help but notice the sadness in your voice and on your face Gaffer. I get it. I know they call it progress and all that, but, you cannot beat the history and atmosphere of the old original stadiums in the middle of the housing estates and communities surrounding them. The new stadium at Kew will never be home, Griffin Park will always remain the place I fell in love with the game and forever in my heart.

My late son Damon used to work at The Boleyn/Upton Park for his beloved WHU. He hated it when it was going to be torn down and did not move with them. So sad what the owners have done to the club 🤬

Its almost to painful to watch. God I fucking loved that place so much.
