Casually vibe coded Trevor Noah's latest website "Books" page using Fable 5 😍 I really loved the effects and animations on the website and immediately wanted to see if I could recreate them with AI. Pretty close in just a couple of prompts, isn't it? Everything is built in Three.js with no 3D assets for the books. Claude built the whole thing using pure math and animated it nicely with GSAP. Feels so realistic and close to real book. Pretty fun to see how close you can get to the kind of work agencies charge thousands of dollars for, just by describing what you want :D Live: Code:

I just created a 30-second Louis Vuitton fashion campaign by sharing just one thought with my Pika Agent ✨ Told my Pika agent: "using me as the character, create a 30s video in Louis Vuitton, fashion campaign vibe, absolutely cinematic and cool, ends with a black screen. have some pixelated elements, keep the facial identity of the character throughout the video" That's it. One message and my Pika Agent handled the rest- casting, directing, editing, sound! This is what it means when I say creation just got insane. Pika Agent is the most personal creative tool I've ever used.

A little splash page experiment ~ ~ my first personal space on the internet in more than a decade. Maybe the beginning of a portfolio site? I don't know! What I do know is that I had fun tinkering with this and that's all that matters. The highlight was seeing my 7 year old's eyes light up while looking at my screen as I was making this. His eyes were wide open with excitement and curiosity as he repeatedly blurted out: "DAD, WHAT IS THAT?! WHAT IS THAT?! WHAT IS THAT?! WHAT IS THAT?!" Life is short. Let's have fun making the internet fun again.

One of the games I absolutely loved playing in the mid-90s was DOOM, created by id Software and famously programmed by the legendary John Carmack. Now, more than 30 years later, I’ve created my own DOOM-inspired game in just a few hours with OpenAI Astra and I keep adding new features, enemies, and levels that are so enjoyable to play and have almost no bugs I can notice, even in first versions! Building it brought back so many great memories from those early days of gaming and was so much fun! It’s beyond remarkable to think that something that once required a legendary team and extraordinary engineering can now be recreated, experimented with, and expanded in hours by someone like me who has no software engineering expertise! Astra is now making this happen! Below is a video of the actual game play (also prepared by Astra!)✨

✨ Added a CRT curvature distortion to pieter™ now It takes the Em-DOSBox and processes it in WebGL and builds a new with the distortion of a classic CRT screen which had this convex curvature (like an old TV) even though the screen itself was square I had this working on DOSBox on MacOS and on Linux with CRT-Pi shader, but on web it doesn't support shaders so I had to build my own with Claude Code in JS, very easy I remember trying this a year ago and Claude Code fucked it up so bad that I gave up, so I think the models have improved a lot Tomorrow I'll try add some scanlines, it really helps make the simulation more passable (and nostalgic!) 😊👌

Insane what you can create with three.js nowadays. I made a game-quality 3D experience in the browser with water ripples, smoke effects, a 3D paper menu, underwater UI, and a peeling footer. The whole thing is pure code and only 183 KB. Seriously, no loading screen needed. I combined and components with a few direct prompts: - Open the hamburger menu as a 3D paper overlay {threeui 3D paper} - Add a peel effect to the footer {canvasui peel} - When the cursor passes through the heading, turn the letters into smoke {canvasui liquid object} Inspired by the amazing site. Let me know if I should open-source it.
