remember if u have a pool etc when not in use place a pole or piece of wood at an angel so if anything goes in it can get back out

For every person who is cruel to animals, I believe there are ten more who are kind to them always 🤍

My bird rescue from our kiddie pool was considerably less magical, the broom was effective though!

So wait a moment... So this Person had enough time to go get the Camera and than help the Bird? I hate People like this with a Passion.

Wish I had taken a video of this one last week. He got blown out of the tree in a windstorm, and he was flopping around begging for food. The mother kept feeding him, but he hopped right up to my feet and begged some more, mouth wide open.

Anyone with a garden should have one of these, birds love it

Put some floating, steady object in your pools so birds can use it to save themselves or to perch on while they drink.

All pools should have a mandatory evacuation ramp for animals and insects.

If pool left full, perhaps leave something they can climb on to for next time as they will need water but have no way of getting out if feathers soaked? 🙏

It is a Young bird! First flights are sometimes dangerous! 🙂this one is lucky!

We always leave a stick in a small pool and a rock 'island' at the edge of a large water bowl

Fledging.... I have them all over my yard. I have to cover windows wells this time of year. They leave the nest but are not able to fly to good yet. Dad will look out of them, bring them food while on the ground until they are able to fly.

Thats a young female sparrow, and it’s father was angry and worried you were going to hurt her. You can hear him freaking out in the background. I have a family of sparrows who have a house in my birdhouse every spring and summer.

I had similar magical moments almost a month ago. A young female cardinal flew into one of our windows… couldn’t breathe. I gently pushed on her chest while blowing into her beak. After about 30 minutes on my hand, she flew off❤️ Here she is:

Beautiful, thank you for sharing this. A young bird, an embodied soul with a life that is as precious to them as ours is to us. I always make sure there's a way out of water we've in the garden, a stick, stones or something. Even then sometimes it goes wrong, A few times a day I make a round and often there's nothing, sometimes there are many insects drowning and I start with the ones that appear to be the weakest, always beautiful to see them stretch wings, sundry them, recover and fly off. Every life is precious but I've a weak spot for birds.

That's why you either empty pools or at least put something in so they can climb out.

Life can be so beautiful even in the most simple things.

It was not saying thank you, it was telling you that you are a plonker for not having plank of wood or something in the pool so it could rescue itself!

Poor baby looked so confused. wanted to stay with the one who protected him. 🥰

To anyone with water features, pools etc, I beg you make them safe! Once spent an evening looking for a neighbours missing dog, only to find it next day drowned in another neighbours carp pond, the claw marks showed how hard it had tried to get out. That image still haunts me 🥺

2/ I placed it in one of my hanging baskets, and after a while, another sparrow came to feed it. Loads of sparrows gathered on the fence to watch what was going on! Eventually, the fledgling flew off. I hope it survived.

That was a little one just learning to fly, and that was mother raising hell until you set the her baby on the branch.

Well done for really rubbing your scent over its entire body.

Your “magical moment” probably killed this bird

I had similar last year. Found a Sparrow fledgling floating face down in large tub that had filled with water, in my garden. It was lifeless. I pumped its tiny heart with my finger, and to my amazement it started to recover. It perched on my finger for the longest time 1/

I rescued a couple birds caught in a fence and one of them sat on my hand like that for a while to recover. Birds remember your face, that little guy will remember you
