My walk by the canal this evening and I thought you might be interested to see a lock. I realised that some of you might never have seen one and I know everyone is fascinated as to how they work. Locks are a way for boats to go up hill or downhill. Without them, there would be waterfalls and a narrowboat can’t do those. If I were sailing my boat from where I’m walking in this video, I’d need to open the paddles with my windlass to let all of the water out. Once the water was out of the lock, I could open one gate (a narrowboat exactly fits through just one gate) and sail into the lock. I’d then close the gate and walk to the other end of the lock as I do in this video. I’d open the paddles at these gates and the water would now flow into the lock and my boat would rise up as the lock filled with water. Once it was full, I’d open a gate and sail out. A very simple system, but very clever. P.S. I have employed a swan to carry my video camera for these videos, as the duck I first employed couldn’t handle the weight of the camera and kept crashing into the water. The swan is better but as you’ll see at the beginning of the video, he’s so big that he crashes straight through the tree branches. There is a lot more training required and he was told off and debriefed after this video was made.

On one of the best nights of my life, I stepped on stage to such incredible energy as I launched into Rich Dad, Poor Dad. The crowd sang along with me and almost 30 seconds to the end of the song, there was a power trip and all equipments shut down. Only thing you could hear was me and the drums. I stepped off stage to allow my technical team to figure it out whilst resisting the urge to let nervousness creep in. They sorted it out, I was reannounced and I performed Rich Dad again to the same energy as before. To most in the crowd it must have felt rehearsed and intentional. And even those who realized it didn’t care, they were there to enjoy the music. I’m happy to share with you a short documentary that takes a look behind the scenes of our preparations from 3 days out till the day of the event. Thank you for sticking with me. For eighteen years, I have devoted my heart and soul to the people of South East St. Ann and to the People’s National Party. Eight of those years were spent leading Region One as Chairman; later, I bore the sacred responsibility of serving as Party Treasurer. It has been one of the greatest honours of my life to serve the people and the movement, and to stand shoulder to shoulder with comrades whose faith in justice and progress matches my own. This passive-aggressive mascot who, along with ex-yakuza Michi, run the PMA in search of downtime mascots to hire to improve tourism and commerce in Kaso-machi town. It's of a more than adequate size and made with the best materials and finishes. I fell in love with it as soon as I had it in my hands. Also, we take a look at the vinyl and cassette set of the excellent soundtrack from this game, made by Alpha Chrome Yayo and Ryo Koike, with vocals by NOZ🌛*゜. Seriously, even if you listen to it decontextualized you won't be able to deny the mesmerizing charisma and energy of each song. Undoubtedly, some of the best LPs in my collection that I'll never stop listening to. I went from 92 to 98 miles an hour by adjusting my drop. When I used to think about the drop phase in my delivery, I thought I needed to drop as hard as I could into my back leg. So that’s what I did. I dropped in, got into a squat position, and powered myself out of it. That got me to the low to mid nineties. What got me to 96, 97, and 98 was learning to create linear momentum during the drop. I started moving down the mound instead of just dropping straight down. One of the biggest things that helped was dropping into the inside of my back foot. Before, I would drop into the sole of my back foot. That put me in a very vertical shin angle and I’d go straight down. Then I had to push out of it. The simple adjustment I made was dropping into the inside of my back foot. That put me in a position where my shin wasn’t as vertical. It created a force vector that helped me get down the mound and build linear momentum instead of just going straight down. That linear momentum wasn’t powered by me. It was powered by gravity. I was able to use gravity to my advantage and throw harder with less effort.
