I think it was VERY important this was some unnamed dude from Ala Mhigo. The Scions are benevolent hero's, they don't speak for the people. But someone under 20 years of oppression and freedom fighting naturally reached a hand out with no ill intent. That'a why he accepted it.

Garlemald was my favorite part of Endwalker. after hundreds of hours of Garleans being the villains, going to their home and seeing the fallout of their society collapsing, and trying to help them pick up the pieces was incredible

I love this scene, I love Jullus, and I love In From the Cold in its entirety. It is such an amazing questline and there's so many people who hate on it because the duty was difficult 😭

Jullus is such a character progression GOAT. such great writing

His family is dead, his country is in ruins, and the very propaganda that fueled Garlemald's impetus had just been proven to be a falsehood. That soup, and the genuine kindness behind it, is the only good thing he's got at the moment.

My favorite thing was that no matter how bad the fighting was, they knew it was the leaders that were the problem. Not the people. They helped them out even after all the fighting
