What a remarkable conversation with a remarkable human being!! After a very long time of following and admiring Brigitte Gabriel’s work, and after hundreds of requests to interview her, we finally spoke yesterday. One of many things Brigitte and I see eye to eye on is the need to...

I was once devoutly Christian and then eventually became culturally Christian for reasons I won't bore you with. I've always be scholarly on the subject of religion and my general interest eventually led me to Islam. Prior to 9/11, around 1987, I had determined that Islam is dangerous. I concluded that allowing Muslims to immigrate here is a mistake, however, I still hadn't taken the deep dive into understanding Islam. When George W Bush said "Islam is the religion of peace"; I thought, maybe now is the time to take a closer look. So I took a class on the history of Islam, taught by a Muslim, at my local university. My mind was open to the idea that my beliefs about Islam could be wrong. When I finished that class I realized that Islam is far more dangerous than I thought and it is explicitly political in its practice. I didn't know the political element is central to Islam's devout practice. That class scared the crap out of me. Since the late 1990's I have been warning others, using social media, about the violence of Islam and it's incompatibility with Western values. No one cared, some do now, many took offense, however, still most Americans don't give a crap because they don't get the fact that Islam, no matter what the iteration, is dangerous and will destroy the US. Brigitte Gabriel's "1400 years of Islamic history explained in 15 minutes" is outstanding and 100% correct. Every high school senior should be required to watch it. We are in the dusk of a quickly encroaching dark night in history. Anyhow, I've been doing my part to educate others about Islam. The religion speaks for itself, all one need do is listen to what is being said by Muslims.

@ACTBrigitte Brigitte is wonderful. She gives me hope when she speaks the truth, that there are people who can see our suffering and that makes me very proud of her. She should be hired in a Trump/Vance Administration as an Advisor for Middle Eastern Affairs or something.

Jon Rahm on the LIV format: “Yeah, obviously there’s been a bit of a change. There was a lot more about LIV Golf that was attractive to me, right. Yeah, maybe the format was a set back in the past, but at the same time there’s a lot of positives to it as well. And one of the things that a lot of players kept mentioning is you don’t have a wave weather difference, where you can simply get unlucky and you’re out of contention for that tournament. It’s part of the game, I get it, but it’s something you don’t have to deal with anymore. So that part is a very nice aspect. The team is what really made it for me. Being able to be part of a team, represent a team, play for my teammates, with my teammates and against my teammates, is something that to me that has always been very, very special. When you get a victory to share, it’s always better to have a team to share it with. So it’s what was the most attractive part and when we started discussions it gets to a point where even though I’m ambitious, I’m not greedy. So there’s a give and take and the format is something that I can easily overlook, and I’m pretty sure I can learn to enjoy it, I’ll just have to get used to it, but I’m pretty sure I’ll learn to enjoy it. To be honest, the more I started thinking about it, the more I started thinking about my college days that were 3 day tournaments, 54 holes, and everybody warmed up together for the most part. So it shouldn’t be an environment I’m unfamiliar with.” This is from the LIV podcast called “Fairway to Heaven”. Full link:

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of and the start of a new conversation. We can all feel it: the web is changing in ways that seem both dramatic and, in a weird way, imperceptible. At times, it’s hard to know where to start exploring what could be next. Sometimes, when you think you've found whatever next could be, it's hard to determine what’s real and what’s hype. Our approach has always been simple: We like to put a big question out there on the horizon of what’s possible, then build toward it with conviction to see what we can learn. When we created the new Edgar Allan site, we set out to explore the impact of conversational design and personalization in marketing experiences. Why conversation? Conversation and dialogue are the foundation of all stories and the vehicle for human connection. Today, it’s difficult to ignore the prevalence of conversation in the digital world, from Slack and Teams channels to social media feeds, phone messaging, and tools like ChatGPT. So, with that in mind, we had some thoughts: ‍“What if a website was less a one-sided place to present information and more of a living knowledge center?” “What if a site could be more of a guide than a brochure?” “What if we could incrementally learn about a visitor’s intent, then dynamically shorten the distance between everything a brand says and the mere seconds of attention most websites get?” Ultimately, the agency's job is to work at the edge of the future and what’s possible so we can make things and report the results to our clients and community. Thank you for joining us in this process. We can’t wait to see how this conversation unfolds and what we can learn together. Also, a huge thank you to the entire EA team. After 258 days of wild exploration and untold effort, today, we are starting the process of learning, designing, building, and optimizing. This site feels like us, and I couldn't be more excited.

251207 Hongjoong, TOKTOQ pop live, p.2-3: 🐿 I think this year went the way it did because the members and I felt that next year, we needed to return more to the core - to the true essence of ATEEZ. We needed time to think about what kinds of stages, content, and music could make ATINY’s hearts race the most, what could move you the most. We needed time to study that, and to figure out what suits us now. Since we’ve tried so many different styles over the years, we needed to reflect on what version of us fits best at this moment, and we needed time to explore that among ourselves. 🐿️ Some people are saying, ‘So is it finally a revolution?’ - but honestly, I don’t know if it’s that or not. It’s not like we’re preparing something with the mindset of, ‘We’re absolutely going to do a completely guerilla-style track,’ or ‘We’re definitely doing this kind of music.’ But within the direction we want to go, since not everyone always wants the same things, we tried to find one common point. And the common point we found was: ‘What makes our hearts race?’ And: ‘What hits the deepest?’ When ATEEZ performs and creates music, what has been the most effective, the most impactful for people? 🐿️ We needed time to think about that - musically, choreographically, content-wise - because we wanted to express it well. And because of that, we’ve been preparing for a long time. I think next year we’ll be able to show you a lot of things born from that process, and that makes me really excited right now. That’s why I talked about it in my acceptance speech. 🐿 My eyes are at the point where they’re starting to feel dry - I haven’t had my makeup on until 2 AM in a long time. Anyway, that’s how it is, and we’ll keep fighting next year too, and finish this year strong as well. I know I talked for a long time and a bit all over the place, but what I really want to say is just that I’m so happy and so grateful. 🐿 A bare-face livestream? (laughs) No, not today, not today - let me off this once. Today, thanks to ATINY, we received five awards together, five in one day, so just for today… please let me off the hook (laughs)
