A huge loss for sure. You absolutely crushed it there with everything you did over the years. I saw the job posting a few days ago and was hoping it was not going to be followed by this post. Enjoy the break and whatever you decide to do next will certainly be lucky to have you as a part of it.

You were one of the best hires in Avalanche's second act; imo top 5 together with Luigi, Coop and Morgan. Have fun on that roadtrip and hopefully you'll learn to really unplug, which is difficult after 100+ hr workweeks. Have fun!

damn, this one hurts. I’ve been lucky enough to be here with you through all of it, the changes, the highs and lows, the stress, and the moments where everything felt special. What you built and what you brought to this team can’t really be replaced, but we’ll keep pushing forward and do our best to finish what you started. I hope you can recharge, slow down and enjoy the country. I’m grateful for everything you gave to Avalanche and the people around you. You made a real impact here, and we’re going to miss you, brother. 🔺

🐤: What I think about the most these days is that I started my career in my early twenties, and before I even realized it, I had reached my 22nd or 21st year in the industry, and I had entered my forties. My teeth and eyesight are still healthy, and I think the fact that I do not drink alcohol probably has something to do with that too. When I see articles about people I used to watch when I was young who have passed away, I think, “When I was young, I loved them and watched them on TV all the time. As I grew older, they grew older too.” Seeing that makes me think a lot about, “What will I be like when I reach that age?” In reality, when a person is born, they are moving toward a new life, but at the same time, they are also moving toward death. That is an unavoidable fate for every human being. But during the time we have here, living happily and passionately is a responsibility each of us has. I also try to live every day diligently and happily. On the other hand, when I was in my twenties, I thought that once I reached my thirties and forties, I would be very old, that I would become weaker and lose my strength. But now that I have actually reached this age, I feel healthier than I did back then. Is that just psychological? I do not know. What will my life be like when I reach my fifties, sixties, and seventies? I think about these things a lot these days. Sometimes I feel sad or frustrated, and I have so many thoughts about how I should live my future. What concerns me most is not simply thinking about specific things like, “What house will I live in?” “What car will I drive?” or “Will I continue working?” What matters more to me is, when I get older, will I still be healthy? Will I still look attractive? How will people see me? And when I look at myself in the mirror, will I be satisfied with myself and think, “This is good enough”? These are the worries, anxieties, and thoughts that occupy my mind a lot these days. So I think about these things. Kkongi has already turned nine before I even realized it. Everyone has the same kinds of worries, but for me in particular, my family consists only of my mother and my sister, and there is also Kkongi. As time passes, I find myself wondering what I will be like and how I will continue living my life on my own. Will I become a burden to someone? Or will I become very lonely? I am not young anymore, am I? Even if I got married before I turned fifty and had children, it feels very late now. Think about it, everyone. If I got married at fifty and had a child, when that child turned twenty, I would be seventy. When they turned thirty, I would be eighty. Just thinking about that makes me feel like my life is already so far behind. Do you ever feel that way too? I do not want you to just say, “Oh, it is okay, you look like you are in your twenties or thirties.” Instead, let us look at my real biological age, not as a celebrity, but as an ordinary person named Park Jung Soo. My Korean age is 44. In ten years, I will be in my fifties. Kkongi will be nineteen, and my mother will be over eighty. In a life like that, I wonder how I will be able to endure it and adapt. I really do have a lot of these worries. I am not saying things like, “Idols should not get married,” or “Oppa, do not get married.” I just want us to think about these things together, as one human being to another, as one person to another. Just as I worry and think about these things, is it not natural for you to have the same worries as you get older? These worries overwhelm me too because I always say that my real family is just my mother and my sister. The members are like family to me, close friends, and younger brothers, but in terms of blood relations, my mother and my sister are all I have. And Kkongi, whom I love more than anything in the world and who is like a daughter to me, even though she is a dog, means everything to me simply by being by my side. These relationships cannot last forever.

Today was an extremely proud and exciting day for me. As you know I currently drive my chair using my head on my headrest as my arms didn’t have the strength. But today I got a joystick fitted on my wheelchair and I have now built up enough strength and movement in my arm to use my hand on a joystick to drive my wheelchair. This is a goal I have been trying to reach since 2017 but I simply wasn't strong enough to do it. I have no finger movement but I now also have enough strength so I have a little button you can see on my arm rest that I punch to turn on the wheelchair & to select my menu💪 Ever since I done it today I haven't taken the smile off my face and I am just buzzing knowing that my hard work and stubbornness was worth it over the last 6 years since my accident. The fact I was told I would never move a muscle or a limb again makes it that much sweeter. I told myself that there will be haters, there will be doubters, there will be non-believers, and then there will be ME proving them wrong. I hope I am an example for others to show you can beat the odds! 💯 Thank you so much to everyone on here believing in me and continue supporting me everyday, this success is as much for you as it is for me. Please give this video a share to spread the word so it might give another person hope. This is a huge millstone hit and my next aim is to be able to push myself in a manual wheelchair, and it might take a year, 2 years or even 3 years but one thing is for sure, it WILL happen and that is for sure! 👨‍🦽 #rehab #progression #spinalcordinjury #wheelchair #wheelchairlife #sci #quadriplegic #paralysis #wheelchairuser #spinalcordinjuryrecovery #wheelchairtravel #ireland #keephustling #motivation #spinalcordinjuryawareness #paralyzed #spinalinjury #nevergiveup #recovery #spine #quadraplegic #ifyoucantstandupstandout

After a lifetime dedicated to racing, 2026 will mark my final season as a professional racing driver. Not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new chapter. Motorsport has been my life for as long as I can remember. It gave me discipline and grit before I knew why I needed them, and purpose in moments when the road ahead was far from clear. From the suburbs of São Paulo to Monaco, racing shaped my life in ways I could never have imagined. It changed me profoundly as a driver, as a person, as a father, and as a human being. I gave everything I had to this sport, and in return, it gave me a life beyond anything I could have dreamed of. I am deeply grateful to my family, who supported me from day zero. Every sacrifice, every difficult decision, every moment away from home since I was 17 years old, every victory, and every defeat was carried together with them. Without their love, patience, and belief, none of this would have been possible. I have a wonderful wife and children who helped me make this decision. A very special thank you to Formula E, where I have spent the last fourteen years surrounded by extraordinary people—people who started writing on napkins and created an amazing championship, and whom I now consider family. Formula E is my home, and my home is Formula E. This decision comes with emotion, but also with peace. Every great race has a final lap, and I want mine to be driven with the same intensity, commitment, and love that brought me here. I will give everything in my final races in 2026. The future is bright, and I will share more news with you soon.

Fathers to a son: please read this. We dropped my oldest off at college this week. He is 18. Totally ready to leave the house. Desperate for independence. This is the way it should be. But it has torn me up. Statistically we have spent 90% of all the time we ever will together. I am sad because I know I made a lot of mistakes during this time. Mainly, I was too hard on him because he was the oldest, and he was a boy. I was the oldest, and a son in my family. I repeated some mistakes that were made with me. Even though I was convinced I would do a better job. I spanked him. I used unkind and hurtful words when I thought he fell short. Things that I have learned cause more harm than good. Things I wish I could take back. Basically I was just too damn hard on him. I have learned and (I hope) improved as a father. Which benefits his little sister and brother. I wrote him a long letter before he left. I told him how proud I am of him, tried to give him some words of wisdom, but also apologized for not always being a great dad. I told him I wanted to be the greatest dad in the world, but I didn’t always know how. I explained how I was brought up, and my father was brought up, and that I had brought some stuff along as a dad that I hope he is smart enough to leave behind when he is a dad. I know my grandfather had it ROUGH. My dad had it a bit less ROUGH. I had it by comparison better, and my son did too. However I could have and should have done a better job in my link of this chain of fatherhood. I am confident my son will do better when it is his turn. To the dads out there, especially with your oldest son…try not to be so hard on him. He doesn’t need to feel the weight of all of your expectations of a family lineage, he doesn’t need to be made into a clone of you, he doesn’t have to be made ready to be your “successor”. Watch how you discipline him…think very carefully about what you are trying to do and what the expected results will be. He just needs to be a good man and to be happy. And you need to keep a good relationship with him.

Got a chance to talk with Cassidy Rowe about her plans in a UK uniform moving forward and this is what she had to say. "Wow…I wasn’t expecting this to be a goodbye post. I wanted nothing more than to play my senior year in a Kentucky uniform, but I know that God has bigger and better plans for me. Sometimes “no” is God’s way of preventing us from greater heartbreak. What a blessing basketball has been in my life. Basketball was my very first love. I spent every single day in the gym working towards a dream that many people called me crazy for having. After facing back to back ACL tears, I sometimes questioned it myself. But through hard work and God’s faithfulness I was able to represent my home state and become a Kentucky wildcat. Truly a dream come true. These past three years have been some of the hardest, yet most rewarding and joyous times of my life. I am thankful for the bad times just as much as the good because it all brought me closer to God. I have met so many amazing people and made memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. While I still have a year of eligibility left, I will not be entering the transfer portal. I will be pursuing my new dream of becoming a physical therapist through UK’s DPT program. Younger me would be crushed that our basketball career is over, but she also wouldn’t believe all of the things we’ve accomplished. I know she is proud🥹 To Big Blue Nation: Thank you. Thank you for your unwavering support and for giving this small town girl the opportunity to live out her wildest dreams. I poured everything I have into this program and you all poured into me just the same. I will forever be grateful for that… and I will always bleed blue. John 13:7"
