I didn’t go to Harvard.. but this is what makes sense to me.. if you’ve earned to get into a certain school then good for you. Regardless of your race or religion. Admissions should be color blind.

I want to be clear no other race in this nation were enslaved! None! No other race had systemic laws created to keep them subjugated as we were....I tire of folks telling Black people how we should feel when they have never ever walked in our shoes.

@ninaturner I’m so glad they brought up classism. Classism and racism have often gone hand in hand. We’ve made some ground vs racism, although our government has a LONG way to go to shed inherent racism. Meanwhile classism is worsening WHILE preventing recovery from racism.

Black children were not allowed in small town Texas schools until I was in 9th grade, 1965. All other races were allowed in the public schools except for black students. Not even one generation has passed, the playing field has not been leveled!!
