My first cruise when we got settled in the cabin I hit a nicotine vape in the bathroom. Alarms started going off and I realized it was thru the whole ship. Turns out it was the must unfortunate timed test of the alarm and a ship announcement where everyone should go for mandatory safety briefing. Haven't been that relieved in a loooooong time

Until recently, and just for fun, I would make it a point to smoke at least half a joint on EVERY flight. It's no big secret, open the drain in the sink and hold it open, keep your joint (or cigarette) in the sink. The smoke disappears into the drain. I never set off the alarm.
