What a slithering argument he presented, IMO! He watched someone who lost their legs due to a phone driver, but carries on phone driving himself? His colleague was caught by me, and he still uses his phone in Hyde Park?

Remind us why using a phone when stationary is dangerous but talking to you about losing one’s licence isn’t. And no, the answer isn’t relating to what one might do when no longer stationary. That part is obvious. Just concentrate on the stationary part.

You need to read the Highway Code. The thing you called a crossing, isn’t a crossing, there are no lights, no beacons and no zebra markings or keep clear signs on the road. There is nothing to say you shouldn’t stop on. It’s merely a place where people can cross, not a crossing.

Yep, more 'I'm breaking the law putting peoples safety in danger and my licence at risk but I'm a good person and need my licence for work so you should be reasonable and let me carry on and I might stop using the mobile for a while, deal?'
