Imagine having over a decade without a new GTA to compete with, a golden opportunity to bring SR back to its former glory, and somehow you release a reboot that looks worse than your own game from a decade earlier. Volition had the perfect chance and fumbled it spectacularly.

I usually disagree with twitter bots cause all they do is complain but as a saints row fan I completely agree, they stripped the game of everything that made it saints row. The game feel incredibly hollow despite imo having an actually well designed world space.

this game had some of the most fun gameplay moments mixed with some of the worst side content. cardboard wars were tight

I bought this game for $2.5 during a sale. At that price, I really liked it and had a lot of fun. It was entertaining, just like Just Cause 3, except for the side missions. But at full price, it's absolutely not worth it.

I feel like it would have been half decent if they added a gta online type of mode since you could modify cars and there are different businesses and okayish character customizable, it would have been like GTA RP 5.5

Actually, the story got so much better towards the end that you could tell it was half-finished. If the devs gave more time to development instead of crunching it, it had massive potential.
