what a teaser

Today’s kids will never know the excitement of seeing trailers for the first time in a THEATER as opposed to YouTube with some pre-trailer tag spoiling what it was. That one was 30 years ago and I still remember pumping my fist.

They had to go back and add “that’s not gonna happen” to the actual movie.

This trailer is great until the very end with Eastwood looking right at the camera. I get why they did it but I feel it was even hokey 30 years ago. Also, that’s pretty poor trigger discipline on Clint’s part.

I miss trailers like that. It was a golden age!

so damn good. a trailer/teaser like that would instantly be close window, skip, or swipe away for 99% of people these days. what a shame. and that clip of clint is not in the movie. shot just for this teaser
