"It's too complicated" for a Harvard Professor, and Fed Board member LOL Do they think we are stupid???

The soft bigotry of low expectations. He’s saying the application form was too complicated for Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook to understand…

This is the dumbest response ever! As a Loan Officer for the last 30 years we ask the question and it’s a direct question, yes or no. In fact she knew what she was doing when she was either asked the question or filled out the application herself. If this gentleman thinks the application is to much then why is he apart of the Fed board?

Mortgage applications are too big to fill out properly? Then she shouldn't be anywhere near the US economy.

Is there a conspiracy to commit mortgage fraud at @federalreserve? Or are “the elite” simply exempt under two-tier justice? Because those of us in flyover country would be prosecuted for what @drlisadcook did…..

TLDR. Federal Reserve governor opines, “If there weren’t so many questions on mortgage applications, people wouldn’t lie as much.”

What a joke. Jeffrey Schmid is fine with blatant fraud.

If she can't handle her own mortgage applications properly (lawfully) then, WTH is she doing making interest rate decisions for the rest of America?

So, she is a "top tier" economist and yet I know more about the mortgage process and can fill out my forms correctly, and she cannot? Where do I apply for an appointment to the Fed Board??

So she's just going to try and say that she didn't do it intentionally. So if she's not intelligent enough to file paperwork, what the hell is she doing at the Federal reserve??

Translation: we all do it, but we will say it was an "oversight" and you will not be able to prove "intent" therefore... go eat cake, you filthy smelly people!

This reminds me of the "Hillary was just too dumb to understand those complicated classification markings on documents." After all, she was only a Senator serving on the Armed Services Committee and then *the* classification authority for the State Department; how could she be expected to understand something as complicated as Top Secret, Secret, Confidential, and Unclassified?!

Less paperwork intensive? 🤣😂🤣

They all do it, probably. Normal Americans can't afford one much less two houses with Powell's interest rate racket.

Did he just call a Fed governor too incompetent to correctly fill out their own forms? Wow…. Kinda racistee.

@pulte I wonder what Mr. Schmid’s loan apps look like? 🤔 And that Newsom shoulder shimmy is concerning.

If she Dr. Lisa Cook, has problems filling out a mortgage application twice within 2 weeks, then she should not be in such a powerful position at the Federal Reserve. We're going to blame it on the extensive paperwork - give me a break.

Translation: The Money Printers have privileges that allow them to break the law and commit fraud. And that propaganda clown @steveliesman didn’t push back or ask if he could do that on his mortgage application. A complete coward.

He laughed dismissively when asked if falsifying mortgage application was a serious issue. He didn’t answer the question. He deflected to the idea of “looking to make the application less paperwork intensive” which suggests that Cook was confused by the process. Nobody in her role would be confused by the process.

Ummm...I'd say that was a nervous tap-dance around the issue (Trump's found the Achilles heel?). There might be a lot of lawyering-up within the Fed and other political elites. Remember...they didn't prosecute Al Capone for M*rder... They prosecuted and imprisoned him for TAX EVASION.

If Cook signs loan documents without reading them, she is too incompetent to serve on the Federal Reserve. RESIGN!

These people all think this is no big deal. It’s costs me a ton of money over the years thinking I had to fill these out truthfully!

Fed Schmid might refer to civil fraud case, New York v. Trump, brought by NYAG Letitia James, accused Trump & Trump Org. of financial fraud by misrepresenting property values to secure "favorable loan terms". By listing both homes as res. prop. Cook secured "Favorable Loans".
