Somehow made Sally Ride and Armstrong even more badass Neil Armstrong: preforms a angled ascent after successfully crashing on the moon Sally Ride: saves the fucking world (I'm being serious)

If you recap all the catastrophes that happen in the series, you realize it's basically "Jackass" in space.

Show with more horrifying deaths in it than anything in recent memory, like I know it's not necessarily the focus but Jesus fucking Christ.

It is incredibly frustrating to watch a show with such a brilliant premise completely fail at depicting its main rival. Instead of a nuanced alternate history, the writers have given us a tired, black-and-white Cold War propaganda piece that fundamentally misunderstands both Russian society and the reality of the Soviet space program. First of all, the portrayal of the USSR's space achievements is historically illiterate. The real Soviet space program was driven by brilliant scientists, immense bravery, and a genuine, almost romantic belief in conquering the cosmos for the progress of humanity. Here, however, the writers reduce it to a cartoonish enterprise. They constantly push the lazy narrative that Russians are incapable of independent innovation, portraying them as mere thieves who have to steal American technology to stay in the race. It disrespects the legacy of the engineers and cosmonauts who actually pioneered space exploration. Furthermore, the moral double standard in this show is unbearable. The creators paint a purely black-and-white world: American characters are allowed to make mistakes, but they are always given deep psychological backstories, moral justifications, and are ultimately framed as noble heroes. Meanwhile, the Russians are consistently reduced to one-dimensional villains. They are portrayed as cruel, treacherous jerks, mindless thugs, or heartless KGB functionaries who solve every problem with violence or sabotage. The show fundamentally fails to understand the complexities of Soviet society, replacing real historical and cultural nuances with cheap Hollywood stereotypes from the 1980s. You cannot write a compelling "alternate history" if you treat one half of the geopolitical conflict as cartoon villains. It turns what could have been a fascinating exploration of two competing ideologies pushing each other to the stars into lazy, heavily biased fiction. A massive missed opportunity.

what if the expanse had a weird younger cousin?

spiritually @raccourier video

@raccourier You wouldn’t believe who made it

Hi Bob

How did that one guy burn in the suit?

Im never letting any for all mankind edit go by unsaved. Have you got any more?

A series that come up with some of the most horrifying, yet fairly realistic, ways to die in space ever concocted.

and then it all fell apart beautifully

oh look the moon i sure do hope it will be of any significance in the final season right

Pathfinder……………

is it actually any good? I've only seen clips from it and it just kinda looks really goofy and stupid. I've been kinda putting it off

I want to watch the series but I cannot stomach the deaths Like Jesus Christ on a tricycle one bro got VAPORIZED by an engine exhaust, another burned inside his space suit, and one crushed by a spacecraft

North Korea winning the Mars race was my favorite plot twist

my mom loves this show
