What actually is Polygon's 'Ithica' upgrade...?! Ithica just went live on Polygon $POL mainnet, after deploying to Amoy testnet earlier this month. Here's some of the most important elements in plain English: (1) Automatic Failover Mechanism: Transactions keep flowing smoothly even in the rare event that a block producer...

Glamsterdam is the performance upgrade, I've already talked about it. But Hegotá is something different: scheduled for H2 2026, it's Ethereum's "cleanup and hardening" fork. 3 problems. 3 technical solutions. All shipping in one fork 👇 1️⃣ The problem Hegotá is actually solving Glamsterdam targets throughput: 10,000 TPS, 200M gas limit, parallel execution. The performance gap with Solana narrows materially. Hegotá targets something harder to quantify but more fundamental. After Glamsterdam, Ethereum will be fast. The question Hegotá answers is: fast and controlled by whom? The Tornado Cash sanctions in 2022 exposed the vulnerability. OFAC-compliant block builders (the entities that construct Ethereum blocks under MEV-Boost) began filtering Tornado Cash transactions entirely. Legitimate users with sanctioned addresses couldn't get transactions included. The block builders, sitting between validators and the mempool, had the practical ability to censor at will. ePBS (shipping in Glamsterdam) brings block building onchain and removes the external relay dependency. But it doesn't solve the censorship problem at the transaction inclusion level. A block builder onchain can still refuse to include specific transactions. FOCIL solves that. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2️⃣ FOCIL: anti-censorship mechanism EIP-7805. Fork-Choice Enforced Inclusion Lists. The mechanism: every block slot, 17 participants are randomly selected from the validator set. Each one can submit a short list of transactions they want included in the next block. The block builder, even the onchain builder introduced by ePBS, must include those transactions or the block is invalid. 17 random validators per slot. Statistically, any attempt to censor a transaction requires controlling enough of the validator set to dominate every random selection simultaneously. At Ethereum's current validator count accounting for over 1 million, that requires controlling a supermajority of stake. In practice, FOCIL makes censorship at the block production level computationally and economically prohibitive for any entity that doesn't control an implausible share of staked ETH. → Block builders can no longer selectively exclude transactions → OFAC-compliant relays lose their censorship leverage at the inclusion layer → The Tornado Cash scenario becomes structurally impossible at protocol level → FOCIL prototype has a runnable implementation, entering multi-client devnet validation now This is the most significant censorship-resistance improvement in Ethereum's history. It's also the least discussed upgrade in CT because censorship resistance doesn't generate price speculation the way throughput numbers do. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3️⃣ Verkle Trees: the node operator revolution Currently, Ethereum nodes use Merkle Patricia Trees to store and verify state. To verify any piece of state, a node needs a "witness": a proof that includes all the intermediate hashes along the path from the root to the target data. For Ethereum's current state size, witnesses are large, bandwidth-heavy, and require the node to store significant local data. Verkle Trees replace this with a cryptographic structure that produces dramatically smaller witnesses. The same proof that requires kilobytes under the Merkle Patricia Tree model requires only hundreds of bytes under Verkle Trees. The consequence: → Node storage requirements drop by approximately 90% → Witnesses become small enough to transmit in real time during block propagation → "Stateless clients" become possible thanks to nodes that can verify the chain without storing full state locally → The hardware and bandwidth requirements to run a full Ethereum node drop to consumer levels permanently The long-term threat to Ethereum's decentralisation is not a 51% attack but the quiet centralization of the validator set as node hardware requirements creep upward with state growth. Verkle Trees break that trend structurally: → Anyone with a laptop and residential internet can run a full node post-Hegotá → The validator set becomes more accessible, not less, as Ethereum scales → Home stakers that represents the most decentralisation-aligned validator category stop being priced out by state growth The transition requires migrating every account and contract on the network from the Merkle Patricia Tree structure to Verkle Trees. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4️⃣ Account Abstraction ERC-4337 account abstraction has existed as an application-layer standard since 2023. Hegotá brings native protocol-level account abstraction: the scope has been defined and the multi-client devnet validation phase is beginning now. What protocol-level AA enables that ERC-4337 doesn't: → Any Ethereum account can have programmable spending rules without deploying a separate smart contract → Social recovery becomes a native feature → Gasless transactions, batched operations, and custom signature schemes work at the protocol level rather than requiring wrapper contracts → The UX gap between crypto wallets and traditional financial apps narrows at the infrastructure level For DeFi specifically, account abstraction at the protocol level means liquidation bots, yield automation, and portfolio management strategies can be encoded directly into wallet logic. The current pattern of deploying separate smart contract accounts for every user who wants programmable behaviour disappears. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5️⃣ The thesis The Glamsterdam piece ended with a thesis about performance re-rating and monetary premium recovery. Hegotá's thesis is different and in some ways more durable. Ethereum in early 2027 (post both upgrades) will be a structurally different network from the one that exists today. Not only faster. Harder to censor. Cheaper to secure. More accessible to home validators. Native smart account functionality for every user. The market prices upgrades for what they do to throughput and fees because those metrics are immediately visible. Censorship resistance, node decentralisation, and wallet programmability compound over years rather than showing up in 30-day fee data. Hegotá is the upgrade that determines whether Ethereum is still genuinely decentralised and censorship-resistant five years from now... ...or whether it quietly became something controlled by a small set of sophisticated block builders and large node operators. That question doesn't generate CT threads. But if think about it is the one that actually matters!

Personally, I suck at efficiency (doing things quickly). Here’s my coping mechanism and 8-step process for maximizing efficacy (doing the right things): 1) Wake up at least 1 hour before you have to be at a computer screen. E-mail is the mind killer. 2) Make a cup of tea (I like pu-erh) and sit down with a pen/pencil and paper. 3) Write down the 3-5 things — and no more — that are making you most anxious or uncomfortable. They’re often things that have been punted from one day’s to-do list to the next, to the next, to the next, and so on. Most important usually = most uncomfortable, with some chance of rejection or conflict. 4) For each item, ask yourself: – “If this were the only thing I accomplished today, would I be satisfied with my day?” – “Will moving this forward make all the other to-do’s unimportant or easier to knock off later?” 5) Look only at the items you’ve answered “yes” to for at least one of these questions. 6) Block out at least 2-3 hours to focus on ONE of them for today. Let the rest of the urgent but less important stuff slide. It will still be there tomorrow. 7) TO BE CLEAR: Block out at least 2-3 HOURS to focus on ONE of them for today. This is ONE BLOCK OF TIME. Cobbling together 10 minutes here and there to add up to 120 minutes does not work. 8) If you get distracted or start procrastinating, don’t freak out and downward spiral; just gently come back to your ONE to-do. Congratulations! That’s it.

Astranis is building a new satellite for Taiwan. 🇹🇼 With our customer, Chunghwa Telecom, we will bring Taiwan its first-ever dedicated communications satellite. Chunghwa Telecom is the largest telco in Taiwan, with a market cap of more than $30 billion USD. Independent, secure internet infrastructure has never been more geopolitically important — and because it’s impossible to replicate with LEO constellations or even terrestrial links, it merits some spelling out. Astranis was founded on the belief that access to secure, reliable communications infrastructure is foundational to peace, prosperity, and self-determination. The satellite we’re bringing to Taiwan represents resilience. It will serve as a critical backbone for cellular connectivity, maritime communications, and essential government services across Taiwan. And it will ensure that Chunghwa Telecom’s network remains operational in times of crisis, whether in the face of natural disasters or other disruptions to terrestrial infrastructure. Importantly, Astranis provides more than just a satellite — we give our customers a standalone, dedicated network. A network that can be rapidly deployed and fully spans their geography of choice. With enterprise-grade security, customizability, and deep insights into the configuration and operation of the network. And as an independent piece of infrastructure, it safeguards against geopolitical risks, and is beyond the reach of hostile neighbors. Those are the benefits of having your own, dedicated satellite and network. And that’s why so many customers are choosing Astranis. We at Astranis are honored to be part of this moment, and to have a product that has proven so uniquely needed in today’s world. We look forward to continuing to support Taiwan and its people for many years to come.

We put TRON mainnet inside a Star Fox level. Then we let the news cycle write the final boss. Meet TRXFOX: a browser rail shooter flying escort over live TRON DAO data, powered by ChainGPT. Most blockchain games wear the chain like a skin. A logo on a billboard, a token in the corner, nothing underneath. We built the opposite: a game where the mechanics are the chain's mechanics. You're a pilot. Your job is escorting USDT transfers to finality, five blocks and a boss per run. The chain is genuinely live under you: → The HUD streams TRON mainnet in real time, block height and transactions per block, refreshing every ~3 seconds because that's TRON's actual block time → Your briefing shows the exact block you're defending at takeoff. Mine just read #84,619,787 → Your cannons run on Energy. Hold SHIFT to stake and recharge, mirroring how staked TRX provides Energy on the real network → Every zone cleared is a block hitting ~3 second finality The enemies are the network's real threat model. Your wingmate is SR-27, named after the 27 Super Representatives producing TRON's blocks while you fly. Now the good part. The boss doesn't exist until you take off. ChainGPT's news API pulls a live TRON or USDT headline. The LLM turns it into a villain attacking the network. The image API paints its pilot's portrait. The name lands on the health bar before you reach the final block. Yesterday it was TRONIC TERROR, Master of USDT Mayhem, born from a real exploit story that morning. Next week's boss hasn't happened yet. Score is TX Secured, the count of transactions you protected. No tokens, nothing to buy, just Star Fox with a working diagram of TRON's plumbing inside it. The whole thing was lab-coded with the ChainGPT Claude Code skill. One prompt wired the news API, the LLM and the image generator into the boss pipeline. Another turned TRON's staking model into the Energy meter. What used to take a game team a sprint now takes a prompt and an afternoon. Install: /plugin install ChainGPT-org/chaingpt-claude-skill Anyone can build on TRON with ChainGPT.

Dr. Fan video translation: First of all, I would like to congratulate more than 16 million Pioneers around the world for transitioning to the open network. This is the result of our joint efforts over the past six years. We should celebrate this historic moment in the development of the network. Looking back at the development of Pi now, it has always been a unique project. Some people will feel that it is different, and yes, it is. Pi is a non-conformist. Many innovations come from non-conformists who challenge conventions, conventions, and established practices. In the case of Pi, in the early days of cryptocurrency development, many projects raised funds through initial coin offerings (ICOs), but Pi never did so. Pi never sold tokens through ICOs and ensured that everyone could get them for free. 80% of Pi tokens belong to the public and the community. When a cryptocurrency project can go online with just a white paper, a smart contract, or even just an emoji today, the Pi community spent six years building its infrastructure, ecosystem, and ensuring that it has usable practical functions. Before opening, most of its addresses were unverified for most blockchains. Pi chooses to verify the identities of millions of users through identity verification (KYC) and business identity verification (KYB) to ensure that the identities of individuals and businesses on the mainnet are authentic and reliable. Because Pi firmly believes that true decentralization is not inconsistent with authenticity and legitimacy. Some cryptocurrency critics worry that Pi's users are too mainstream. Is this a problem? We think not. This is precisely the biggest advantage that the Pi network has been working hard to build and build over the past six years. Ordinary people like Pioneers are the driving force behind Pi's development because Pi aims to solve the problems of large-scale applications and real-world practicality. Pi welcomes both cryptocurrency enthusiasts and mainstream people. History has shown that only by meeting the real needs of the mainstream population can technology develop for a long time. With this development trend, the cryptocurrency industry as a whole will also benefit from the participation of a large number of mainstream audiences to jointly create the real utility of blockchain technology. What does it mean to open the network today? This means that the firewall of the Pi blockchain has been removed and connected to the outside world. This makes it easier for merchants to sell goods and services in the local market; developers can further develop applications and improve business model logic; creators can gain greater influence; and ordinary Pioneers can also connect and trade with each other. For new developers, welcome to this widely distributed crypto network. If you already have a business model, come to the Pi network to test and sell your products. For developers who don't have a business model but have an excellent application experience, the Pi application network has prepared a business model for you. The platform will bring you traffic and make you profitable. At the same time, it creates the use value of Pi for all pioneers, which is very beneficial to the Pi network as a whole. So, Pioneers, in the end, don't let external noise distract you. Focus on key matters, focus on things that can have an impact in the crypto field and even the world. Keep working hard, keep creating, and everything else will fall into place. MY MESSAGE Please listen carefully to this video so that you understand, the value is determined by the existing ecosystem, the current ecosystem is GCV $314,159 What small traders do under the auspices of the ambassadors 🥰 Eagle woman 🦅 Nonny Padja NTT 🇮🇩 Believe it or not, it's up to you, the point is we've won with a GCV barter value of $314,159 If you want to succeed Barter with Pioneer and small merchants with GCV value of $314,159❤️

This is another piece about #kaspa and why you should accumulate as much as possible. I think people don't realize yet the tangible progress that $kas had from the launch of the project. And who complains about the chart going sideways for a few months, that is called redistribution after an amazing run during the bear market. Enjoy. Kaspa: The Blockchain Speed Demon Redefining Crypto Efficiency Kaspa has emerged as a significant player in the cryptocurrency landscape, particularly noted for its advancements in transaction speed and scalability while maintaining the foundational principles of Bitcoin (BTC). Here's an insightful look into Kaspa's achievements and its relation to Bitcoin: Unprecedented Speed on Testnet: Kaspa's testnet has demonstrated remarkable speed, achieving up to 10 blocks per second (BPS). This is a monumental leap when compared to Bitcoin, which processes about one block every 10 minutes. This speed was showcased in Kaspa's Testnet 11, where the network's peer-to-peer dynamics and node health remained stable, indicating the robustness of its design. This capability is facilitated by Kaspa's unique implementation of the GHOSTDAG protocol, which allows for parallel processing of blocks, significantly enhancing throughput compared to traditional blockchain structures. Similarities to Bitcoin: Decentralization and Security: Just like Bitcoin, Kaspa uses a Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, ensuring that the network remains decentralized and secure. Kaspa's approach, however, does not orphan blocks created in parallel but instead orders them within the consensus, maintaining a high degree of security without sacrificing speed. No Premine or ICO: Kaspa was launched with a fair distribution method, eschewing pre-mines or initial coin offerings, mimicking Bitcoin's launch ethos to ensure a level playing field for all participants from the outset. Scarcity: Similar to Bitcoin, Kaspa has a capped supply, which encourages a deflationary model. This aspect could potentially make Kaspa an attractive store of value, akin to Bitcoin's role as "digital gold," although Kaspa brands itself more as "digital silver" due to its focus on speed and utility. Advancements Beyond Bitcoin: Scalability: Where Bitcoin struggles with scalability due to its block size limit, Kaspa's BlockDAG structure enables it to process transactions at a scale that Bitcoin cannot match without significant network congestion or fee hikes. This makes Kaspa potentially more suitable for everyday transactions. Transaction Confirmation Time: Kaspa transactions are confirmed in about 10 seconds, compared to Bitcoin's minimum of 10 minutes, making it highly efficient for real-world applications where speed is crucial. Energy Efficiency: By design, Kaspa aims to be less energy-intensive than Bitcoin while maintaining PoW security, leveraging algorithms like kHeavyHash which are more suited to the high-throughput environment of a DAG. Future Adaptability: Kaspa plans to introduce features like smart contracts with very low fees, potentially positioning it as a platform for decentralized applications (dApps) without the scaling issues faced by other networks like Ethereum. The Road Ahead: Kaspa is not just another cryptocurrency; it's a project that challenges the established norms of blockchain scalability. By solving the blockchain trilemma of security, scalability, and decentralization, Kaspa could set a new standard for what's possible in cryptocurrency. However, its relatively new status in the market means it has yet to prove its resilience over decades like Bitcoin. The community's enthusiasm, combined with ongoing development like the Rust rewrite for better performance, suggests Kaspa is on a path to potentially significant growth and adoption. In conclusion, while Kaspa shares foundational similarities with Bitcoin, its advancements in speed, scalability, and adaptability make it a compelling alternative or companion in the crypto ecosystem. Its testnet achievements are just the beginning of what could be a transformative journey in the blockchain space.

Yesterday I saw Hokanews post the article which is:" The Price of Pi Coin is not $314,159, Here are the actual facts from the words of Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis ". This led to all global community shock and debate. The following is what my understanding of this article and my explanation is to let the community avoid the misleading of Dr.Nicolas Statement! Pay attention! This is only my personal opinion for reference only. I am not representing Dr. Nicolas or Pi Network Core Team!🙏 1. Dr Nicolas never guides or indicates what the Pi Coin price is. He stated one year before: Pi Price was created by pioneers. Therefore Pi Network CT never judges price or indicates/ guide price. They never interrupt pioneer community activities regarding price. They strictly obey USA SEC regulations! If someone uses Dr. Nicolas name to manipulate price, this is a fake statement. It's not Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis statement. 2. Dr Nicolas Kokkalis answered some Pioneers questions regarding 0.01 transaction fees around one year before. Some Pioneers think if $314,159 is Pi price then 0.01 Pi transaction fees are too high. Therefore Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis answered that 0.01 is fixed right now. But it will be adjusted with time. It can be 0.001 or 0.0001. Maybe some day, it can be 1/1 million which is 0.000001 which is the lowest in the Blockchain system. He just gave an example and he said 0.000001 is Pi Network Blockchain function to adjust the transaction fees Lowest limit. 3. There are logic mistakes in Mr. Lu statement. The possibility of 0.000001 doesn't mean it is. How can we change the possibility to reality. This is the critical thing we need to consider! Right now large portions of Pioneers Community accept GCV $314,159. And we can see in China there are 100 million USD transactions to support GCV! However I only see $200 1 transaction to support 1 million USD. If I am wrong, please send me the substantiate proof. 4. Our GCV $314,159 never goes against higher consensus price. $314,159 is safe bottom line to start open mainnet. And we can see many merchant promises to use GCV when this price is fixed which includes real property and cars vehicles, gold ect. 5. If the price can't be united, the Eco system mature time will take a long time. I don't think this is what pioneers and merchants want to see. In addition, the longer close the mainnet, the more pioneers and merchants will lose. I heard from Chinese merchants that they almost used up all their inventory and funds to support GCV. They are waiting for the price to be fixed and open the mainnet so that they can have cash flow to restock. If the open mainnet is delayed, they will have a hard time to support anyone. 6. Not only GCV merchants need to open the mainnet soon, low consensus merchants such as $100 or 1$ price has almost run out of the inventory or fund too. No matter the high or low price for barter, all merchants need cash FiAT when the industry cycle is not built up. I heard one merchant gets 2000 Pi from barter by using a low price,he complained that he has no cash to support anymore. 6. In order to save and help all low and high price merchants, united prices are critical to resolve all cash flow problems. Only when united prices, the outside eco businesses know how to pledge pi to use Blockchain and create the demand of Pi. So merchants and pioneers can have converters use the same price! I call on all global community pioneers and merchants united to GCV together and don't fight prices anymore. It will hurt the community if you can't settle the price down soon! All best wishes and Happy Mother's day to global pioneers! Especially to all mothers🙏🙏🙏🎉🎉🎉 Pi Network #PiNetwork #PiGCV

Let’s make this clear: Arch is not an L2. The label gets thrown around because people see our custom execution model, and assume a familiar category. But categories only help when they reflect how a system actually works. Calling Arch an L2 only creates confusion about what the architecture is doing. L2s require that users bridge or wrap their assets in order to access greater programmability. They maintain a separate state machine that only syncs back to Bitcoin, if ever, when transactions are posted back as post commitments or proofs on the base layer. Their transactions aren’t dependent at all on what is happening on the Bitcoin base layer, since their execution and validator lives entirely elsewhere. The ArchVM works differently. ・The same validators that approve the transactions within the ArchVM also have proportional key shares within Arch’s FROST + ROAST cryptography on Bitcoin. ・State changes are reflected accordingly, with a real-time mempool indexer and a DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) that keeps track of the state transitions on arch and the corresponding asset transfers on Bitcoin to ensure they remain atomic. ・Its rollback/reapply method ensures state consistency, allowing Arch to give applications a pre-confirmation, allowing users to break away from the user experience issues that come with Bitcoin’s slow block times. That’s how Arch can bring financial logic to UTXO-based assets on Bitcoin, keeping actions taken within our suite of apps and aligning them at every stage with the base layer. Developers can coordinate activity, enforce rules, and build onchain applications without introducing wrapped assets, bridging models, or security assumptions that force users to move their assets elsewhere. It’s a model unlike anything Bitcoin has ever seen… and unlocking a form of Bitcoin programmability that has never been feasible until now.
