What am I doing wrong? 🔭 I wanna see the ✨✨

I could only see the telescope for a second and never saw the “eyepiece” portion very clearly, but I think I saw a barlow on there. That should only be used for looking at something bright like the moon, as it makes everything orders of magnitude darker. The moon is actually a good place to start since it’s obvious when it’s in focus, but a bright planet like Jupiter or Venus will do fine. Rack your focuser in and out and you should see things come into focus. If you want better guidance, I suggest posting a photo of the telescope and eyepiece clearly enough so I can see it!

TIP: point it at the moon, then turn the focus knob until it’s in focus. Make sure there are no caps on the eyepiece.

Difficulty seeing through a telescope is usually associated with the focus being off. Try to focus on larger points of light like Venus, Mars or even the moon before stars. Also a cloth over your head goes a long way to cut out extraneous light sources so you can see clearer.

You gotta open the lens, untie your left shoe, retie your shoe, zoom in, zoom out, grab your beard, give the tele a puzzled look, look inside.. see a puzzle.
