What an amazing idea for making instantly wooden walking bridge

The Da Vinci Museum in Milan has a section where visitors get 9 pieces of wood and a picture of the completed bridge. It's good fun—even small kids solve it very quickly. 👍

Such a great idea it was invented 600 years ago.

1502 Davinci Bridge

GENIUS RESISTS TIME What you are watching in this video is not a "new" idea; it is a 500-year-old dream that Leonardo da Vinci put on paper in the 1480s. No nails, no ropes, no glue. There is only a quiet and elegant deal that wood makes with gravity. This pure form of engineering is a "friction dance" that becomes stronger as the load is loaded. True mastery is not to add something new to the world; it is to interlock existing forces (gravity).

Davinci sure thought so

As he walks to the other side to get more wood….so he can finish his bridge to walk to the other side.

Why has no one thought of this before 🤔

So good you’d think someone would’ve thought of it sooner

@onlymier @grok Is this possible?

Now try a 60 foot span...sissies

There are nails at the edges.

Thanks Leonardo da Vinci

Dünyanın ilk köprüsü

That’s great and all, but it’s a good job. There’s no water in that river.

Self supporting Wooden Bridges have been around since the late 15th century.

If I'm ever in the bush, have need to cross a stream, AND there are 7 3m lengths of 4 by 2 lying around, I will remember what to do.

That’s incredible👏 The ministers in my country must not see this

An amazing idea that came about in 1485-1490 by Leonardo Da Vinci you fucking schmuck.

Now look at this, he came to fight with him unnecessarily, when he got punched, he came to his senses.

Thank De Vinci

That’s really cool and smart

Davinci did it first.

I think da Vinci came up this many years ago! Somewhere around 1500 AD

Yeah but the time it took they could've just jumped down then back up the other side. Like the guy building the bridge did

@grok what is this type of bridge called? Hint: famous painter 😎

Don’t let Nigerian politicians see this

Always

@CJohn10987 Da vinci bridge , scouts build them all the time

That’s great and all, but it’s a good job. There’s no water in that river.

U mean DaVinci bridge

Für was brauchen sie nochmals die Brücke 👀

Falto mencionar que es diseño de Leonardo da Vinci, un detalle
