What an awesome version! He sounds great.

It’s just a doo-wop but of all the songs in the entire world THIS is the one I’d wish I’d written. Just wonderful. 🇳🇿

4:35 well spent. So good. Thanks for posting this.

Neil Finn does a wonderful job on this beautiful song.

Another version 🎶

I got to see Crowded House live in concert for the first time ever, just over a year ago in Dublin. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Excellent gig. 👌🏻

This just sends me higher and higher. So lovely.

Here he is with Split Enz… he’s fantastic still today.

One talented guy... Voice sounds better than ever ..

Original key, too. I love this song. Thanks for sharing.

Saw Crowded House in MCR last year. Surprised to learn he was part of Fleetwood Mac for a year or so..

Hey now —- That was an incredible performance. The whole team played their instruments like professionals. Thank you for putting this into my hands and ears this morning!!!!

I love this song.

A haunting lyric, melody and a great version/performance that stands right up 40 years later!! Neil wrote this at age 26 or so, how was he ever supposed to outdo this composition. Great post!!

Those strings 🎼 🖤

Love it!

I’m in a pretty dark place. I needed those 4 minutes. One of the most beautiful songs ever written. A stunning performance.
