Hazards lights blinking though so its fine

Who the fuck is narrating the video, Buffalo Bill?

Even if he made it think of the structural integrity of the bridge now. Luckily no one was hurt but how about the bridge.

Engineers, pay attention to the efficacy of the suspension bridge! Awesome lesson on load dispersal!

It’s a suspension bridge! Unless there was a posted weight limit the driver ignored, then everything is fine. If he did ignore it let’s have the video of the bridge and the sign.

I would say they need an inspector out there to check on the integrity of that bridge now.

Beaver’s suspension bridge is designed to flex 10–15% of its span for stability, but ASCE studies show that overloads exceeding 50% in cases like this accelerate cable corrosion and fatigue, potentially reducing the 1940s-era bridge’s lifespan by decades.

I was 100% confident that when that bus went over that second tier it was going to collapse.. Smh.

No dumber than the idiot honking his horn.

That’s how suspension bridges work

It held, and functioned the way it was designed to do.

According to Grok this is the bridge in question and yep it has a posted limit of 10 Ton

Billie Joe McAllister wouldn't even go on that bridge after this.

The outcome…

That driver had to have received his CDL in California. Probably couldn't read the signs... weight restriction bridge NO TRUCKS!!

I can’t be the only one that wanted to see a big splash

Here in Washington state, we’ve had a rash of bridges and underpasses getting smashed by trucks lately. Can’t help but wonder if their illegals driving

That’s the way bridges are supposed to react when loaded to capacity. Usually with a lot of traffic you don’t see it so clearly. That doesn’t necessarily mean the bridge was over loaded but if it was, not by much…

Nothing happens but...

He got across and saved 10minutes on his journey though so who’s the idiot?

The driver just made it a pedestrian bridge.

The bridge has a load limit of 10t with a sign saying no trucks. The coach is likely in the range of 15-20t. There are alternate bridges relatively close by with no limit. The bridge's road surface is longitudinal wooden slats riveted in place. The coach driver was being a dick.

🤔 I wonder where they got their CDL

I'm actually really disappointed that the bus did not fall through the bridge into the water. Sometimes consequences like that are the only way stupid people will learn.

Sure they have done that many times just normal as they are under the weight restrictions

@grok where is this and what is the weight limit on that bridge?

Why are we honking?

holy cow - the bend of the girders supporting the roadway is wild Well designed bridge

Looks like there’s a tractor trailer on the other side of the bridge waiting to cross

Is that the bridge in Beaver Arkansas going over the white river/Tablerock Lake?

Think he’s watched too much of Top Gear

That bridge is epically fkd now.

I wouldn't wanna be the next vehicle to drive ovals

Over engineering at it’s finest 💪
