On June 1, 1996, the last nuclear missiles were brought from Ukraine into Russia. The next day, Ukraine has lost its status of a nuclear state after signing the Budapest Memorandum. The US, the UK and Russia gave their assurances that Ukrainian security and sovereignty would not be violated. The second example was more successful a “Baba Yaga” drone was able to confuse the operator of an anti-drone interceptor that was attempting to shoot it down. For now, this cannot be called widespread, but in the future such a blinding system may become an effective method of countering FPV drones, especially fiber-optic-guided ones, which cannot be jammed by electronic warfare at all.
