The aye-aye is the world's largest nocturnal primate, filling a woodpecker-like role in its ecosystem. It uses its long incisors and extended finger to extract insects from trees. Due to its ever-growing teeth, it was once mistaken for a rodent.

Indri lemurs are large-bodied lemur, weighing 6–10kg with a head-and-body length of 60–90cm, but despite their size they are not always easy to spot among the foliage.
