“Against the Sun” (2014) is a survival drama based on the true story of three US Navy airmen; pilot Harold Dixon, bombardier Tony Pastula, and radioman Gene Aldrich, whose plane crashed in the South Pacific during World War II. Forced to ditch their torpedo bomber after getting lost and running out of fuel, the men ended up adrift on a tiny life raft with no food, water, or supplies.
