What are your thoughts on this guy talking about how people, who complain about the price of groceries, shop? Is he right? Do you agree?

I agree with him. Especially the potatoes come on, why buy that bagged crap full of who knows what. Making your own is very easy

Mashed potatoes!

He is 100% spot on and I have been saying this forever! I buy raw foods only. And by that I mean ingredients, people! Things you use to make other things. And I buy in bulk, on sale and have a deep freezer. I didn't even know what half that stuff WAS!

ayoo...my guy don't be generalizing us all like that. As an Italian some of us pale folk actually know how to cook and season their food. I'm just sayin'. You got a point though.

My wife makes a wicked Alfredo from scratch!!!

🤣😂 I'm fuckin' dead. Bro literally broke down 2 grocery lists and how White Folk can't grocery shop, nor can they cook.

I just spent $120 at Walmart and that included tons of fresh produce (2 bags of spinach, string beans, snap peas, basil, shredded cabbage, bananas, tomatoes, mangoes, carrots), 3 bags of frozen fruits to make our own smoothies bc the premade smoothie kits are not only loaded with sugars and artificial crap, but are also twice as expensive. I also got ground turkey bc it’s cheaper than beef right now, chicken, 4 blocks of cheese to shred myself, bakery breads, herbs to make my own seasonings, 4 cans of tuna, fresh parm cheese, sour cream, mayo, ricotta cheese AND body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, a bathtub pillow (bc we take lots of baths), plus 4 clearance plastic cups for .25 each. The boyfriend got some cheesecake, their bakers dozen sugar donuts, pulled pork jerky, and a few other things. I have pastas, potatoes, onions, pancake mix, flour, oils, etc…to fill in the gaps already. I agree 100% that a lot of people don’t understand how to shop on a budget. Convenience shopping is exactly what this is . You don’t need the expensive name brand shit either.

Why aren’t these ppl complaining about Trump selling the watches and bibles and shoes and coins and hats and shirts and calendars. He has something for sale on tv during every rally. But cares about us buying groceries? BFFR

100% agree. Cooking and meal preps are healthier and better tasting. I usually cook on Sunday’s and prep my entire week. Also, butcher shops and produce markets are a great way to save money on meat and vegetables and it’s always fresh. Cutting out sugar and carbs also saves money and is better for you. Convenience will just kill you faster.

Real talk stay away from the middle of the grocery store and you’ll be okay
