A life for a life, if you murder someone in cold blood you have forfeited all your rights to life.

The parents of the boy should of served the first part of his sentence and him kept away in a unit and go through support. Their neglect caused this. Kid waited for the ambulance it seems like he didn't understand there was no going back from his crime, he just didn't want to go home to them.
