What are your thoughts on this new house style?

I absolutely hate them they look like a prison

They kind of do, now that you mentioned it

@Sandy1Texas They look like warehouses or businesses, not homes. I'm not a fan.

@Sandy1Texas I would like to see the inside, but I do not like the outside

Looks like the Commie McDonald's

It kinda does 🤣

Reminds me of Communist Brutalism architecture. For me, the Pueblo style is the best for desert homes.

Looks similar

Well if you like prisons, then alrighty then.

Lol, not my style

Good because there is no style.

@MelissaRNMBA If right angles is your thing, more windows & less concrete might look better

@MelissaRNMBA I like this look. Windows make it better

@Hippyd87544 I love it,,, if I could afford an expensive house I would definitely own something similar to that. However I wouldn't have a bunch of dead grass. I would probably go with Desert landscaping.

@Hippyd87544 Desert landscape would probably look the best with this style

I’m sure all the light would be wonderful on the inside. But the outside looks like a bank or a medical center.

They look like modern prisons or warehouses.

I agree especially a warehouse

Love it! Corporate campus chic

@RYboating Too corporate looking. No character.

@RYboating Exactly

Well I like modern - so I see these as pretyt nice - would like more glass though

That would help out on looks

They give me the urge to weld steel plates to a bulldozer and run into the buildings, does that clarify how it makes me feel?

Was Obama’s architect designed them? The one who designed his library?

Lol, it is possible

I hate them.

Not really appealing

They look like office buildings. But to each their own.

I thought the same thing 🤷

Nice fire stations

Lol

Very Boxy, no style! No curves, peaks, Boring! 🥱

Yes more business like

Heavy snow would collapse those roofs.

Your probably right

I don’t like them but my daughter does. Different generation. 🤷‍♀️

Ya, I personally don't like them either

Need to see them from the inside. Also, those lots need TREES! And maybe some climbing ivy. 😁

I would like to see the inside

Is that the Penitentiary Series from DW Horton? 🙄

No thanks...

Nope

Is that for real? Butt-Ugly

I thought the same

Absolutely not. Where is the character and charm? They're awful. Give me a nice Victorian, Tudor or Craftsman. These things have no curb appeal at all.

Same people that brought us the Obama library?

Too sterile for me. Too modern.

Not really fun to look at

Not for me, but I bet the interiors are open and spacious.

They look cold, industrial, soulless, unimaginative, dehumanizing, anti-family...just like the people who will move into them.

all the charm of a testicle clamp.

Ugly

Disgusting

They look like bunkers to me. Expensive bunkers. I”ll keep my single story brick home.

Looks like a prison!
