If you want a contrarian foreign policy perspective about the (lack of) military threat china poses to the US, I recommend “The Fake China Threat” by Joseph Solis-Mullins, published by The Libertarian Institute. Clickbaity title but full of well researched essays by the professor.

100% the long game. Great book and also puts a perspective on how China views AI today despite being released in 2021 before the LLM boom

Great summary. Fyi, there’s no short “a” sound in Mandarin, so “Wang” is pronounced as “Wong” instead. Same for eg “Chan,” “Chang,”…

You know it’s so hard to listen to people who can’t know the difference between right wing, which is asking for freedoms. And communist is which are forcing whatever way they want white or left-wing if they want abortions, they force abortions if they want children and women have children they force a women to have children that’s all left-wing. It’s not that right wing people always like children. I mean Democrats have children too. What kind of silly thought is this? I guess I don’t blame him. Maybe no one has ever tried to explain this to him or he just can’t understand that it’s just like sex. A woman could be Ghang banged but if she really wants it, it’s not rape. It’s wind it’s forced up upon her, no matter how soft that it becomes rape. The right wing in America don’t wanna force women have babies they want to make it OK for people to say they don’t like women who don’t have babies as much as they like women who do have babies. You see here no one’s forcing anybody to do anything they’re just voicing their likes and dislikes. They also don’t mind saying that they don’t want to have gay children or change children of their own and they don’t want other people trying to force their children to be trans. The right wing of America will defend gay people against Muslims, who often will want to murder them. This guy can’t tell the difference or push pushback on the guy that writes the book that says communist. China is realky right wing im disguise. It’s poor educational.
