@carfulu Insurance claims are designed to be very hard to cash out. And my point was that if you want peace, you should be able to afford 2 cars before buying one. Maybe I am biased being in the commercial cargo transport sector...its the law here, buy a car only if you can afford 2

@carfulu A used Outback or Forester should be worth a look. Plan to find one that isn't more than 25m so you can use the 5m to fix all its issues which will most likely include a cooked steering rack!
