I was SHOCKED when they didn't pick up Trick Moon that seemed like a slam dunk for that era of CN

Just sayin, CN had the money for the Billy and Mandy movie and the new Chowder series. But instead, they used it on the Adventure Time movie and the BMO preschool series. But according to some people, CN had no relevance or history prior to 2010. So guess it’s fine😒 Why bother🤷

That's what happens when Cartoon Network gets merged with AT&T and Discovery in 2020-2023.

It’s such a bummer, but honestly, it is what it is. Creators can dream big and take risks, but corporate management won't see it that way. Making money and running the company is way more important to them than investing in a project where the financial payoff is a gamble. We can only pray the higher-ups eventually see the value in these works, but corporate awareness is always lagging. In this industry, it usually takes years for them to realize it, or the project just ends up dead in the water forever.
